Jaboticaba Jam

Since this is the ONLY jaboticaba product I've found, it met and satisfied my longing to repeat the taste from childhood without actually traveling back to the land or back in time to get the authentic fruit. It is high priced for the small amount. Is it better than any other jam of this fruit? Could be. I'd be happy to taste others if I could find them.

Good flavor, but it doesn’t have not even a hint of jaboticaba flavor! The reason i only gave one star is because it was sold as a jaboticaba jam but the jaboticaba flavor is just not there at all!

The taste of this fruit is really good. Thought the price was to high since you have to pay for shipping (about the cost of the jam!) Also the jar was kind of watery, not enough pectin to firm it up

I’ve never had jaboticaba before, but the trees look neat and the fruit is supposed to kinda taste like muscadines, so I wanted to taste it myself to see if I’d be interested to try to grow one. This is a decent jam, but it doesn’t have the “gamey” flavor I like about muscadines. I’d describe this as generic “red” flavor. Don’t know if that’s the fault of the jam or if that’s just what it’s supposed to taste like.

This is delicious, and reminds me of my trip to Brazil and picking these fruits right off the tree. The taste is exactly the same. Wonderful product.

What I received was a jar of syrup consistency jaboticaba.

I was excited for having a Jaboticaba jam. Unfortunately, the consistency is too liquidy and sugary, you barely taste the fruit. It seem to have too much water, sugar and too little of the fruit.

The jam is highly perishable but quite delicious! I bought it because I read of it's ability to fight allergies and posaibly asthma. It has a sharply sweet taste like due to the amount of lemon juice. Would buy thia again!
