Should work fine
Pretty sure I got a used one as the bag was really beat up and there were marks and some some sort of residue on the slicker, but it is machined well and pretty smooth so it will work just fine. Just isn't as pretty coming out of the bag as the pictures would have you believe. I wish it was just a touch bigger so I could cover more area, but I like this in concept much better than using the edge of a glass slicker or the flat side of a regular slicker to mat down the back of leather.

Works great. The size is perfect for small projects with thin edges. It’s very light and doesn’t even feel like wood.

A tool I didn’t know I needed
This well made and elegant tool slicks edges and flat surfaces. It does an amazing and fast job. I have all sizes and shapes of slickers both power and manual and this one will replace many of them.
