Exceeds Expectations
My 3 year old Furion camera was rapidly becoming unusable. Not sure if it was water inside the lens or sun damage but the picture became very unclear. I was disappointed that the camera could not be replaced and so my research began. While I was happy with the Furion the display was small and the high cost of replacement was not something I looked forward to! The fact that they had no replacement for the camera was also very disappointing and I would assume that in the future the same may happen. So I started my research into a new camera system. It seems there are more choices now than even just a few years ago and pricing appears to be more reasonable. The Furion gets good reviews and from my experience the system itself always worked well. The pricing of the Furion however has not come down and in fact has increased! Some system pricing just seemed to be too good to be true! My 5th wheel is 41' long so the strength of the signal was important. After reading numerous reviews I decided on the Haloview RD7 system. This particular version of the Haloview comes with an extender or as some say a repeater that brings the signal closer to the monitor.Installation - Haloview includes everything you will need including cable tie downs, furion mounting hardware and power leads, plenty of cable to reach the front of a 41' trailer, monitor, a couple of ways to mount the monitor, the camera and the extender with mounting tape. It took me about 1.5 hours from start to finish to disconnect the old camera and install the new system. One thing to consider with the extender mount, the antenna will fold in one direction. I have see pics of folks mounting the extender in a forward orientation, I turned mine the opposite way. This will allow for a branch or other object hitting the antenna to simply lay it down flat with no damage. Just something to think about. I don't think I have ever seen a manufacturer include so many extras in their packaging. This is one of the few products that I did not have to run to the hardware store to pick up things that were needed. The caveat to this review is that I have not driven with the system yet but will in a few weeks and I will update then.Picture quality is awesome, so much clarity and field of vision, far better than my old furion. Mounting of the monitor was easy although I will be ordering the suction mount in the near future. The sound is fair however I could see this as an issue with the ambient noise of a campground but not a deal breaker by any means.Menu options are numerous on the monitor, there is nothing more they could offer here!I will now be ordering the side view cameras for added views!

Great Product and Support of Product
Product arrived quickly and well packaged. Install is as easy as it gets. Picture quality is good and constant, no signal interruption or lag at highway speeds. Product support or customer support is excellent and timely. Monitor developed some heat sensitivity, 11 months after purchase and would turn off. A push of the power button would bring it back to life. Sent email explaining issue, received immediate response. Traded a couple emails and a couple days later a new monitor awaited my arrival from road trip. Trouble free resolution!! Immediate remedy provided. How great a customer experience! Read the instructions a couple times before installation. Pair the cameras to monitor before installation and you are road ready. I am not an electronically gifted person, just the opposite. My problem not the units. I try to use monitor as touch screen capable. Laugh at myself every time I peck at the screen and expect something to happen. I have only good things to say for the product. It is rare that I give praise to a product.

Great system, however moisture issue
I purchased the RD7 system with the single backup camera on 5/14/21. Because this system seemed flawless and very simple installation on our 36' 5er we decided to purchase the side markers on 4/12/22, about a year later, again simple installation. Fast forward 4/14/23 was getting set up for a trip, and could not get the back up camera to pair up with the monitor at all on several attempts. The right side marker camera was blury with moisture on the inside of the lens. The left side was perfect. I then emailed Haloview customer support, I must admit I did not think I was going to hear from them for a while knowing it was Hong Kong. In fact they responded within 12 hours wanting to help the best they could, and they did, for every email that was sent to them, they responded, impressive. It was decided that the TX T1 box (antenna) had failed due to moisture infiltration (see picture). However this was past its 1 year warranty period so I had to purchase a new T1 (antenna) @ $100. Once I received the new antenna I went to a hardware store and purchased a 2" electrical lb box and a couple of caps (see picture) to put the antenna in and help to combat moisture. It dose not appear that I have lost picture quality or lag time which has been virtually nonexistent with this setup. Only time will tell. Haloview admittedly knows that there is a moisture issue with the antenna and are discussing a resolution. The right side camera was replaced by Haloview free of charge, even though it was 2 days past warranty. For that I am greatful. Not sure about how to protect the side cameras from moisture. Time will tell if this all works beyond 1-2 years. I still believe this is one of the better systems out there. It is clear picture with vertical little lag. If it fails again I will find an alternative.*#UPDATE*# Okay, I give up, MORE MOISTURE INFILTRATION!!! Was setting up system today for the first time this season. Found the rear and right side marker camera picture very hazy. Found that moisture has entered the camera's once again. You know we really loved this system when first installed. It was easy to install and picture quality was awesome.I am now in the market for another camera system. We are done with Haloview.Any recommendations?

Arrived on time, and exactly as described.
Mounted on the rear of my 23 foot travel trailer for rear view observation while traveling. Have made several highway speed trips with it now and image quality has been excellent with virtually no lag. Only weak point has been that the audio level is rather low to be very useful. I recommend this product.

Works good the picture is good during the daylight not so much at night
Works pretty good. loses signal once a while. The night vision with the headlights coming behind you makes it useless at night.

poor quality. T1-Box transmitter failed on me 3 times
had this system for almost 2 years with no issues until its Tx-Box transmitter quit and won't pair anymore (Pairing LED will not flash anymore). It gets power (Power LED will be on). Ordered Tx-Box transmitter twice and all failed with the same fate just within a month of use.I do not recommend this pricey system that does not last long!

Works well for my intended use but new truck owners beware
I purchased this system over a yr ago and the picture lags a bit but not enough to be a concern. Overall I am satisfied with the system however I upgraded my truck in early 2022 only to find out that this set up does not provide enough power to turn the camera on. Haloview has an adapter that you will need to buy if you have a newer truck with LED lights. I chose to connect the camera power wire to the battery in the trailer bypassing the need to get power from the truck. Now it works as it should and I did not need to buy the adapter. I just need to flip the switch I installed by the battery.

It doesn't last long
I purchased the Haloview RD 7 in May 2021. It has been used less than 20 days since then.15 months later the camera has failed, just outside the warranty period.I notice that I am not the first person whose camera has failed very early. Considering how expensive this unit was I would suggest that you may wish to consider other vendors. When the camera worked the picture quality was very good. The Bluetooth connection lagged a little but that is to be expected of Bluetooth. Really not a problem, Installation was straightforward.
