Calming Collar for Cats | Cat Anxiety Relief with Pheromones | Cat Calming Products for Kittens | 4 Pack

I got these collars to help my cats with fighting issues and overall on anxious behavior. Unfortunately, I never noticed a change or improvement in any of them. I tried giving it a few weeks to see if something would happen but was left disappointed. I then decided to take them off since they were not happy having the collars on anyway and noticed there was an entire ring of fur missing from my animals’ necks. The company specifically states the collars are “chemical-free” but I have reason to believe that is highly false.I would definitely not recommend buying this product, as I would hate for that to happen to another poor cat.

I very rarely leave reviews for things I don't like, but I really feel this product is a bit dangerous.First, it is very heavily lavender scented. Very heavily. This may be calming for a person, but I don't think it helps a cat. I'm concerned about the chemical used to make the scent so strong. No idea if the cat could sense the pheromones over the lavender.Second, and more importortantly, this is not a break-away collar. There's no way to put it on safely. I spent 11 years managing a no-kill cat shelter and I can't tell you how many times we ran across severe injury and subsequent infection due to collars put inappropriately on cats. Too loose and the cat gets the collar caught in his/her mouth like a gag. It's awful. Too tight and the cat can choke if the collar catches on something, and causes skin irritation whether it catches or not.There's no way for this collar to "break away" in an emergency for the cat and that's really dangerous. Add to that, that your cat is likely to freak out and hide when you put this on and that's not calming for anyone.I understand why the manufacturer makes this thing like a dog collar, but cats aren't dogs and need different considerations for their safety.In terms of having a calming effect, I didn't see it. I left the collars on bedding, etc, to see if it would help, but no luck.If you're looking to try pheromones as a means of treating anxiety or aggression, you might want to try something other than a collar and without a scent meant to appease humans. Or maybe hemp oil. Or a Jackson Galaxy book.

Seems to have a calming effect on my cats. They weren’t getting along previously and now they seem to tolerate one another a little better - still not big fans of each other, though. I would like to note, the collar smells unlike any other calming collar I have purchased in the past. It must be the lavender bc my cats smell like old women going to church on Sunday morning. I guess there could be worse things than that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This has a STRONG smell to it (and for me it's NOT pleasant, but the kitties don't seem to mind), it smells like chemical to me (which it's supposed to be natural), one of my sisters says it smells like soap and the other says it smells like lavender. Our vet recommended trying this type of collar and to put one on our aggressive kitty and one on the kitty she beats up the most and so far...no help at all. It just stinks. I can smell when one of them comes into the room before I even see them. We'll give it longer, but so far not impressed at all for my cats. Maybe it works for others cats but apparently not for these two. We were hoping it would work so we don't have to keep the aggressive kitty locked up away from the other three. :(

I don’t right reviews but I absolutely had to for these collars. After living through a house fire and having to stay at my vets temporarily,my poor cats were so stressed. I got these collars hoping for nag for any improvement. These collars radically changed them for the better, no longer pacing, constantly meowing,and otherwise so obviously distressed. They are now purring constantly, laying still ,relaxing and no constant meowing. I can’t recommend these collars enough.

These collars tend to be really expensive so my wife and I were happy to find a 4 pack and save some money. This is a different brand than we've purchased in the past and these ones are so much easier to put on! A lot less stressful for my cat.

This is my crazy cat Sailor. Without the calming collar he would have to be on drugs from the vet to calm his rude, bite first, his second attitudes. With the collar Sailor has become a calm kitty who actually wants human attention. He now comes up for pets, plays well with his 3 brother cats and is generally sweet. You can tell when it's time to change the calming collar because Sailor will begin to revert back to his pissy self. I am a user of these collars for Sailor's life!

These are wonderful! My newest foster cat is still a bit of a spaz and we def noticed a difference with these even after a couple days. It's no miracle drug, but she hasn't been as jumpy or as ready to lash out since we put one on her.
