Works very well
I needed a dual thermostat that had separate temp controls for my snakes and this worked amazingly! I am able to control temps for both tanks independently of the other. Makes it very easy.

Great Customer Service!
I bought this product like 4 years ago now and just pulled it out for my reptiles again. It worked great prior but due to it being older it’s no longer working. I contacted customer support and they are sending a new one! I’m very thankful because I didn’t expect that was just looking for support to see if I was doing something wrong. Highly recommended!

Fantastic customer service!
I bought this product in November 2022. It stopped working within a month - just lost all power, no lights, no nothing. I put it in a cabinet and figured I'd work on it later. Well, time flies and out of sight out of mind. It's May 2024 right now, and I decided to get it out and see if it works after "resting" for a while. Still nothing. I contacted the customer service email address listed to see if there was any kind of warranty. Kerry responded to my email the same day and was willing to replace the defective product even after so much time had passed!! My new pyrometer will be here in a few days and I couldn't be happier! I have the same product for one of my other snakes and it has worked perfectly for over 3 years! I can't wait to get my boa set up with a regulated tank again! Thank you so much to Kerry!!

Not intuitive but It works, here is how
I always read the instructions and I consider myself good at figuring out how things work. Despite that, I set this up wrong in the beginning. Even when I knew it wasn't working right, I couldn't figure out why. I actually thought it was either defective or that it just didn't do what I wanted.I couldn't figure out how to contact the seller without resorting to "questions" but I didn't really know what/how to ask. I tried to contact the seller and after a few minutes of back and forth with an Amazon chat bot, I realized i was getting no where and ordered a replacement to test my theory of it being defective. It arrived working exactly the way the other one had so I spent some time alone with the Pymeter and 2 cups of water (1 hot and 1 cold). It took around 15 minutes to get a good feel for it.Intuitively, I expected the on / off settings of each socket control a window of time when the socket is switched on. This is NOT how it works. The actual way it works is more clever and allows more control than a basic home thermostat where you just set a single desired temperature. For controlling a heater:The socket will remain powered on until temperature in the OFF setting is attained at which point it will remain off (presumably cooling down) until the temperature in the ON setting is hit. You'll want the ON temp to be lower than the OFF temp. For controlling a cooler / fan:The socket will remain powered off until the ON temperature is reached at which point it will power on. It will stay on (hopefully cooling down) until the OFF temperature is reached. You'll want the ON temp to be greater than the OFF temp.In retrospect, it makes sense they called the settings on/off instead of hi/loI'm using this in a betta tank. I bought this model because we don't have AC in our home. It can get too hot during the day and then it cools down too low at night. Here are the actual numbers I'm using:I have a heater hooked up to socket 1 and a fan hooked up to socket 2.The ideal betta temperature is 79°F, so I've set:Heater ON @ 78°F, OFF @ 80°FFan ON @ 81°F, OFF@79°FWith these settings, on a hot day, the fan should switch off (at 79°) before the heater is triggered to come back on at 78°. This will prevent the heating / cooling from fighting eachother. On a cold day, the heater will shut off at 80° so I never expect it to trigger the fan.Other notes around usability and the product in general:Pluses:*) The alarm feature is nifty. I set the alarm to reasonable values and this alerted me to the fact that it wasn't working as I expected. Unfortunately, this happened in the dead of night. My wife asked if she should start expecting this as a common occurrence 🤦. The alarm makes the same beeping noise, it makes when you change the settings.*) The packaging is compact / effective / recyclable*) Its neat that there is a temperature differential alarm. They mention that if a sensor goes bad you can use this to figure it out before it causes damage some other way. In practice, I wonder if this will actually happen.Mehs:*) The unit / cables are all white which is pretty conspicuous inside my fish tank which has a black background (see photo). I wish it was all black or at least to have the option to swap with black cables. I will eventually try to do a better job hiding the cables in the tank.*) The cables are quite thick. I don't understand why they need to be that thick, unless maybe insulating them from extreme temperatures? Anyways, it makes them more annoying to place in the tank.*) as other reviewers have mentioned the interface switches pretty quickly so you need to get used to it before you can really feel comfortable make changes.*) the calibration of the sensors was off by a few degrees when they arrived. It's neat that you can calibrate them but it was also somewhat annoying. I think the best thing to do here, is put them in alongside another thermometer you trust and then tweak the offsets until they match.

Outstanding customer service and care!!
Used for our ball python enclosureMy original purchase lasted about 9-10 months before going haywire and dying. Contacted the parent company and explained the situation and surprising had a new replacement within 2 weeks. That controller died a few days ago. Contacted again, and another is on the way!! These guys are great. The controller is simple to use and set up. It’s relatively inexpensive. Hands down would keep using this.

Last less than six months
Used this product for less than six months and already had to replace it. I was using it for my reptiles heating source and the first outlet doesn’t work the second one overheats.

Works well for a dragon
Have this showing two different temps in a dragon enclosure and controlling secondary heat and cooling in the hot and cool side of the enclosure. So far it does well and can be relied on. Hopefully it lasts.

Acheter hors Chine de plus en plus.
L'appareil devrait avoir aussi un contrôle pour maintenir le climatiseur toujours en fonction et seulement le compresseur de refroidissement doit-être contrôlé.

Awesome Temperature Controller for Snakes
I use this controller in a fairly big snake tank. It keeps temps bang on very impressed. Easy to use controller easy to read. Comes with lengthy cables to position any where in the tank to get a low and high reading. Definitely recommend this product.

Great but need a better manual
It is a little hard to understand how to adjust the temperature, the manual doesn't help much, but is a great product after you figure it out!

Stopped working after 6 months
The display stopped working after 6 months. I do not recommend it if you want the product to last. Save yourself some money and just buy a better one. This was $$$ down the drain.
