Not in cardboard box, comes in plastic bag with ziplock closure.
I was worried about the packaging coming in a box, boxed grains usually have no inner lining and not air tight. The plastic bags seal very well and you can expel any air before sealing it. :)

Disappointed
I bought this to replace regular cream of rice. Wow was I disappointed- it tastes disgusting and doesn’t have the same consistency either. There is no cream about it it is crunchy and does not dissolve. I eat a lot of cream of rice so I bought a multipack of this and I will be throwing away most of it because it is intolerable to me.

Great morning starter!
I like this cereal very much for my touchy morning stomach. It’s easy to digest and is great with flaxseed meal and some rice milk. Packaging did not absorb any scents from warehousing or delivery.
