This is a great low price option to aim your cameras from the pole. I have only used it once to troubleshoot a connection in a junction box but it worked great.

I’v been using these for years on cameras that are stationary and pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ)’s as well. Getting the frame that you want is easier to do without getting off the ladder to go inside and check if it’s set to view what’s needed. Fifteen trips times five, twelve, twenty four cameras on and off the ladder will wear a person down quickly. With this monitor I can set the camera once and be sure it’s perfectly set up. I’m able to switch to multiple mediums for different setups. Like analog, IP, HDTV, with PTZ cameras they can move but I can test them in place to insure it’s getting picture and go through it’s functional features as well. It comes with a assortment of needed cables for the different types of systems. The screen size is good enough to be able to glance and be done. There’s a little cover built in to block light and it works. It comes in a bright orange case, no forgetting it on a job site. It can take a hit easily and protect the monitor. It good enough quality and I’ve seen better and used better but for the price it’s a bargain and a one hundred percent time saver. And that translates to getting to the next job quicker and getting more jobs done in a day. Mine came already with rub marks on the screen but when the monitor is on you can’t see it. I got used to using it fairly quickly. Came with instructions but they really are lacking. For about a hundred bucks it will pay for itself in a few weeks of time saved. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

I bought this unit to setup a surveillance system for a friend. I was able to bench test an entire surveillance system with this unit as well as perform a continuity test on the network cable and BNC cables.With this unit, I was also able to check my field of view and get my camera angles figured out without having to mount the cameras to the wall or other permanent structure.The HDMI input is perfect for setting up prior to installation on-site.All of this helped me to spend less time on-site setting up the system.The battery life is great. I tested this unit out by connecting a camera to it and also connected the DVR to it and let them both run. The battery lasted for a few hours easy.I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who wants to install a surveillance system. I now have a couple systems to install and this device will make it much easier to finish the jobs.
