Decent saw, but not worth the extra cost.
Decent saw, not worth the extra cost. The tensioner is really the only significant benefit to this saw... But it's still way overpriced in my opinion. It is easier to change blades than the German style saw I used for years... But I did snap a few blades getting it dialed in just right... I don't think the price is justified, It doesn't seem to saw any better than any other saw I've used. The blade changing is maybe 10%-20% easier... I don't seem to break blades any less than other saws I've used... The handle gets a bit slippery if you have sweaty hands, I think it could have a better design, maybe texture or a different shape not just round so it can slip and turn.Other than that... It seems fairly good quality, at least so far, I haven't had issues. I haven't had it extremely long, and haven't used it excessively so time will tell on how well it holds up.So to sum things up, I'd say it's a decent saw, but probably worth the price. I don't think it's 5 times better than a $20 saw to justify it being $100. If you have plenty of extra money and want to blow some on a decent saw that might make your job a tiny bit easier it might be worth it. Or maybe you get one used or on sale for much cheaper it would be worth it... But I'd say it's just not worth the price they charge compared to any other saw. Maybe $50-60 and it would be a great saw for the price... But at almost $100 its just not. Disappointing, as I had high hopes for this one.

Cuts 24 gage silver like butter.
Tensioned up and with a little jewelers lube, it literally cuts like a warm knife through butter. Although it is as light as it claims, it is bulky and feels like a racquetball racquet, parts do get in the way if the work is in a GRS vise. Am I glad that I bought it? Yes! Would I buy another? No. . .A hundred bucks is a bit much.

Super light and strong. Cuts cleanly. Comfortable to hold.
Be aware there are two versions of this saw. One with the ability to rotate the blade. I had trouble determining the difference between two listings and went with the cheeper of the two. Saved a little but wish I had spent the extra for the rotating blade.

Wish I would have bought this years ago!
I can't believe the difference when using this saw compared to my old one sawing silver! It makes sawing almost effortless! The tensioning feature is incredible! I haven't snapped a blade yet! SOOOOOO glad I bought this saw!
