These capsules contain acerola cherry powder and casava root powder, which provides fruit sourced vitamin C. The casava buffers the tart taste of acerola. The capsule info seems potentially misleading since it lists vitamin C as an ingredient but it doesn't appear that any vitamin C other than what occurs in the acerola is included. I like that this is all natural and not too tart, but it doesn't provide a high dose of vitamin C unless you use a lot of capsules at once. It is not a cost effective way to get vitamin C. Also, the plastic bottle is clear and not as good as a darker colored container would be for preserving the contents. This is a safe, natural product, but not an ideal vitamin C supplement.
