There is a diamond in the center, but the outer edges are faceted so they look sparkly to compliment the diamond in the center which is larger than I expected it to be. The backs are traditional curled metal backs. You can substitute the plastic disc backs if you want to.ARE THEY IN A NICE BOX?These are in a nice presentation box which is perfect for gift giving. The studs are on an angled display card which pops up when the lid is open. It really looks nice.HOW DO THESE WORK?These fit nicely. They stay put, and there is not any problem with the backs or the stems being too long. They have a really nice sparkle to them and are surprisingly pretty.ARE THESE FOR CASUAL OR DRESS UP?These can be worn either casually or if you are dressing up. They really seem to be quite versatile.THE BOTTOM LINEFor a nice stud which is pretty, a decent size, and that has a nice sparkle without being too glitzy, this pair of earrings would make a great gift for yourself or even someone who only likes to wear studs.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I like these. I really did not expect them to look so nice! Our daughter will wear these a lot. She was impressed, especially since they have small diamonds in them.

The earrings just don’t look like they did in the photos. They look better in the photos

These are very pretty earrings. They have several small diamond chips that sparkle and show off your own sparkling personality. I like wearing them for evening dress when going to dinner or the theater as well as with more casual attire when meeting friends for shopping, lunch, or meetings.They are pretty and sparkly without being over the top or cheap looking. Wearing them gives you the right touch of bling for almost any occasion.

This is a review for the Samaria Jewelry Diamond Accent Round Stud Earrings in Sterling Silver for Women.On the plus side, these are a nice size; I usually just wear pearl studs and these aren’t much bigger. I was afraid these would be too small and perhaps just for kids but that’s not the case.I don’t have a lot of jewelry, but the earrings, bracelets and necklaces I have are all nice and luxe. I usually don’t like costume jewelry like this and make no mistake about it, this does not look like a real diamond accent earring. But it also doesn’t look like it’s trying to be - the earring is shiny and flat and looks more like you’re wearing silver. It’s not gaudy.The stud backing also seems tight and secure. I did not wear them very long so I can’t say how long they will last. Which brings me to my main critique and why I don’t like these - they don’t look right on my ears.These are the first earrings I’ve ever worn that do not lay flat against my ear; no matter how tight you make the backing they don’t lay flat. They also seem to give the appearance they are pulling the earlobe down. Now, I do not wear heavy earrings, and I have a perfectly normal smallish ear, so this was the first time I ever had this issue. I’ve even worn heavier dangle earrings and never had this happen.For this reason these are not keepers for me and I won’t wear them. You might have a different experience with them and do know they do look nice and not gaudy,

This is a set of small stud earrings decorated with diamond dust. Each earring measures just under ¼” in diameter. The fronts are dimpled and the gems inset in the dimples are so tiny that they are more like diamond dust. The earring backs are pinch clasps. The earrings come packaged in a cardboard box with a metal hinge; the box I received had a broken hinge.I was a little surprised to see how small these studs are in person. I guess from the photos I was expecting the earrings to be more like 1” in diameter. At this size, I can’t really see myself wearing them. They would look more appropriate on children, perhaps 4-12 years old, for special dress-up occasions. The gems are quite small, so if the light doesn’t catch them, the overall appearance of the earrings is gray from the dimpled gem settings. Overall, this set would make a nice dress-up accessory for young children.

These are nice studs to wear on casual occasions. I like that the are relatively flat because they will make good tennis earrings. They don't sparkle as much as you would think by seeing the picture on the product page, but they are still attractive and more substantial than I expected. The posts are kind of short so if you have thick earlobes they might not be long enough.

These are very nice round stud earrings. They are a bit larger than a standard diamond stud earring, but not too big and they have a very classy, feminine look and feel. I have worn them several times and the backing stays in place very well. They are sterling silver, and gold plated on top of the silver. I have very sensitive skin, and these have not caused any issues with breakouts like cheaper metals would do. Overall, I do think they look like the picture and the measurements in the product description are accurate.
