Kind of difficult to operate

This is a nice little sifter. It looks good sitting there with my baking stuff and is easy to clean. It is very sturdily built and I expect it will last for many years. I would recommend this to anyone who bakes a lot.

I'm an older person so I've used my original sifter for decades. It just finally got so beat up that I stopped using it. Tried doing the strainer sifting but product goes everywhere! Bought this, nice price, and really impressed. It's sturdy but sifts pretty easily. What surprised me was that it has 2 screens! Double sifting! A feature my old one certainly didn't have!Good buy for sure!

Very convenient to have. I use it to sift dried catnip for my cats. It works fairly well in breaking down the leaves; not strong enough to break down the stems. But then how many people sift catnip?

I keep trying different "grip" sifters, because the hand crank ones are messy (for me anyway.) The one I like has the "pot handle" but eventually it breaks. I got this one because it was highly rated. I'm not sure if people have never used a sifter before and don't know what to expect, or if they like it because it's shiny. If you bake more than once in a while, give this a pass.This has two screens inside it, separated by half an inch or so. It has two "wheels" which are intended to wipe the flour through, but they do not touch the screen at all so it's really more a wish than a wipe. Because the screens are separated and have their own wheels, this "wish" has to happen twice. Finally, the wheels only move maybe 1/8 of a rotation with each squeeze. All of this combines to making maybe 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon if you are lucky come through with each squeeze.I'd actually replaced one of these previously because the little bent metal tab broke off, similar to another review. I'd forgotten which one I got (or blocked it out) so I was not thrilled to see this one again.I gave this one two stars since most people probably don't use a sifter 2-3 times a week. If you are like me and you do, this would drop down to maybe a star.

I used this a few time during the holidays making pies and cakes. It did what it was supposed to do- sift. I used it to sift flour and confectionary sugars over cookies, It worked great.

Was purchased, mainly for laying down flour before rolling out pastry but upon use the flour dumped out in huge quantities, so I have ended up using it more likely traditional sieve by gently tapping on the side, it can’t be disassembled and as it has two layers of mesh with a paddle in the middle washing, it would probably just clog it up with flour clumps unless Of course you have a good dishwasher. Other than that it’s a very reasonably priced device. And maybe I’m just using it wrong.

This is useless, the flour doesn't sift through using the handle, you have to shake it which completely defeats the object! Don't bother, it's cheap rubbish

Easy to clean and easy to use nice product.

The look was very classy and the way the sifter worked when pressing the handle ticked all my boxes This is not a flimsey item but quite sturdy at the same time being light

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Good value for money, easy to clean and use.
