I previously bought a beginner kit to see if I liked needle felting. I decided I did and needed to buy more tools. This kit is wonderful for the amount of tools you receive. So many needles that if any break I still shouldn't need to buy any for a while. It comes with needle handles which is great. The handles aren't super high quality, but will work great until I decide I need something more substantial. They stuff just about as much into the plastic box as they could fit.The finger guards look super thin and aren't leather or anything so we'll see how they protect after I've done a project.I decided to purchase my roving elsewhere to ensure it's good quality so a set that only had tools was perfect.If you haven't done a kit prior to buying this bew aware that this doesn't come with a booklet on how to needle felt. It's a leaflet that leaves much to be desired. There are many videos on youtube for this as well as videos from the kit maker I bought my first kit from. If you search for Truslin on youtube you would find their videos.Overall great kit for someone starting out with seemingly every tool you would need to needle felt. Not super high quality as you can get if you buy individually, but very worth the price paid.

The kit has many pieces- agree with another review it's difficult to put everything back. Have used a few times- one disappointment is it doesn't come with a guide on what each needle is or how to assemble. It took a few minutes to play with the handles to figure that out.Overall seems a good value for a beginner- time investment learning about the needles though is a bit frustrating.

The kit is good, but I recommend cleaning it

Very nice kit, comes with lots and lots of replavement needles, handles are sturdy and easy to hold, a really great value for the price.

This is a great set for beginners. I bought for a class later this month

I am giving this kit 5 stars because, as a first time felter, everything I could possibly need to start is included (except the wool). The large number and sizes of needles inspires me to think big (and small). I do have to do some research to know what some of the items are for and how to use them but that even gets me more excited and stirs the imagination.I do wish there were some instructions or at least an inventory of what is included but for the price of this kit, I am more than happy to figure it out.I am sure this kit would be great for any level felter; the needles are a staple of the craft and I am sure, if you purchased them alone at a craft shop you would pay 20xs the cost of this collection.I am including a couple of photos of my awkward and unfinished first piece- a 3D image of a tree frog clinging to a large branch.

The media could not be loaded.  needles are a little flimsy but if you’re gentle it’s no issueeven if not there’s enough needles in the package to replace them quite frequently without issuethey also added in a random single hot glue stick which was pretty wholesome <3love u seller, thank u :-)
