First Time Fully Modular Buyers Becareful!
Sata ports and peripheral port looks exactly the same, and is only vaguely distinguished with a barely noticeable lighter shade of grey, which to me a colorblind person is almost impossible to see in normal light. And because the ports are not clearly identifiable. I almost made the mistake of connecting my sata cables into the peripheral port. Which could have ended up in the power supply blowing up, or catching fire. Thankfully I didn't do that. But as a first time buyer of a fully modular power supply it is a easy mistake to make. NZXT should clearly label the different ports, like every other manufacturer, so that never happens.

High quality PSU! I highly recommend this.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. C850 Gold (03/20/2021) WOW. Ive never seen a PSU packaged so well. This thing is very high quality. Tested with a PSU tester and everything checks out. Now I'm not an expert, but I have some experience in building computers but it's been a while. This is the best PSU I've ever seen. I'm slowly buying parts week by week to build a monster of a pc so I can't tell you how well it actually performs yet. But like I said, everything checks out on the PSU tester. In about two weeks I will have what I need to actually really test it. I will update this review then.My specs are ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming AMD AM4 ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI 2.1, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and Aura Sync)CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-Core, 16-Thread UnlockedGPU - ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX570 O8G Gaming GDDR5 DP HDMI DVI VR ReadyRAM - HyperX Fury 32GB 3466MHz DDR4Two WD_Black SN750 1TB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND

an amazing psu but one small issue.
it was easy to install and it was my first modular psu (goodbye ketchup and mustard cables)the pcie cable sticks out quite a bit when plugging it into the gpu, so you might need to flex the cable before plugging it into the gpu.the cpu 4+4 pin cable is naturally oriented the wrong way so you have to flip it around twice just to plug it in.overall the black tubed cables look nice and look nice with a black on black case. i did order some blue braided cable extensions that are arriving today 1/26/21. so hopefully those look nice

Awesome Power Supply
I bought a pre-built PC from CyberPower. Obviously pre-builts come with their own, no name brand dinky PSU. I had to upgrade from a no name brand 650W Gold to this baby. When I got it, I was to say the least...a bit nervous. I've never bought NZXT but I wanted to give this good lookin' thing a shot. Packaging was great and it came with a little bag for all the cables. I pulled it out of the box and I could feel the power. It just felt good in my hands. Sturdy, simple, smooth and had a good weight to it for the size (check size chart). I installed it no problem and the cables are well built/good design. I powered it on and I started to hear this clicking sound. I thought it was coming from the PSU so I went to the website and looked for customer support. I was able to IMMEDIATELY chat with someone. Unheard of. The product support was fantastic (10 year warranty) and after troubleshooting my stupid face had a cable stopping my GPU fan. So yeah, my GPU was the thing clicking and not the PSU. After I fixed that with the live NZXT troubleshoot person, I was on my way to the games. So far, after weeks of gaming, I have had ZERO issues. I hope this lasts at least the next two PC builds I anticipate in my lifetime...or at least until I find a wife. Ha. Prices are insane right now for some reason on PC parts. I got this sucker for around $100. For 750W Gold? Yus prease.

Quality, solid build. Some nice features makes this stand out.
Unit is very quiet. Benchmarks are good. Build quality is high. Packaging is nice. Includes a NZXT Purple bag to hold extra cables that you don't need. Value for money was on par for 80+ Gold PSUs. Could be lower. Sleeved cables are nice and beefy. Can cause some issues with cable management though, since they are tough to prevent tearing/damage. Not worth losing a star over it though, as the cables can still be routed with a teeny tiny bit of effort put in. Connectors are solid and have a nice *click* when properly attached. Documentation does not state much about the zero RPM fan mode in terms of pressed is on/off or vice versa. Figured it out with T&E.

Great, few problems.
750w gold makes me feel future-proofed. I like it.A few issues I have with it.The 24-pin wires. The end that connects into the PSU is organized wrongly. I need the 6-pin on the left and the 18-pin on the right (because that's how the ports are designed on the PSU), but the 18-pin is on the left and the 6-pin is on the right. So I have to cross the two wires, like if I were driving with my right hand on the left of the wheel and my left hand on the right of the wheel. Also the wire is basically very thick. I think this is something that's necessary or beneficial, but the thickness just means I can't completely close my PC case because the wire can't be flattened. There are also a lot of extra connectors with the wires. Like the SATA connector, there's like two or three other connectors attached to one. Now I just have extra connectors that I don't use. But maybe they're used for bigger builds with more lights.Update:Did a little more computer work and realized the holes in the PSU for the screws didn't correctly match the ones with my case. I mean they were in the right place, but they were misaligned by some amount and what ends up happening is the PSU is just pushed into the case when I put in the screws. Don't know if this is due to my case or the PSU.

Unclear zero fan RPM mode and drop in performance
I replaced an 8 year old PSU that had a 2 year warranty. The added current stability improved my mem overclock from 917mhz to 927mhz. However, this has since declined steadily.Anyway, the real problem is I can't tell if zero fan rpm mode is on or off. I want it to be off to increase the longevity of the PSU. The manual or graphics on the psu should tell me without having to turn my computer around and flash a light to see the fan.
