These pants are a pretty decent buy
These pants are a pretty decent buy. They'd be more competitive if they were a bit cheaper as you can buy brand name and proven pants of similar style for the current asking price. I wanted to give these a shot because I liked the cover choices and schemes. My main gripe is there is very little mobility in the crotch. They fit great everywhere but the groin. Anybody I crouch or lift a leg to step over something, I feel like they are going to split. They would benefit from an elastic section through the groin.I was playing around in the water over the weekend and they do wick quickly and don't hold water. Great for hiking, kayaking, etc. I would not use these for anything require much rapid movement as they'll be uncomfortable in the groin and likely to split on you.

Great pants, windproof, comfy, and dry in 10-15 mins
I ordered this a size up (XL) because I was afraid that my long legs wouldn't fit in there, and I saw that it was sized a bit smaller then advertised. Gotta tell you, they were spot on - the XL was too big at the waist, but that's why the good lord invented belts for us, am I right? The pants are brilliant, otherwise. All pockets - and there are a lot of them - have zippers included. For me, this is a HUGE plus, as now I don't have to worry about stuff falling out or going "missing" while I'm hiking about! They're a bit on the small side, but that's just because I've got enormous meat-claws. For those wondering, the pants themselves are water-resistant naturally, but not waterproof - if you read the desc, that's precisely what it says, but I feel like pointing it out again. That said, if you get them wet, they'll dry in 10-15 minutes, it's amazing really. They're comfortable, they can be made into shorts on the fly, and they're windproof. They won't keep the chill out, but that's why you should wear longjohns under them - and there's plenty of room to do that, which is brilliant. Overall, my only complaint is that the belt that they ship with is weak, but I've instead packed it into my bag to keep my blanket all wrapped up, so that's not a worry at all.

GEVAL MEN'S PANTS Big Letdown for $40 pants. Avoid These.
I purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica and they were fine. A little bit cheaply made and finished for the high price. I have worn them 2 more times and the front zipper failed. It is not cool to have your zipper just split at the slightest twist. I'm petty lean and I need to use the belt to keep my pants up so it is not or the pants are too small. It is just a cheap plastic zipper. I would avoid these pants at all costs. I'm on vacation now and planned to have these as my go-to pants. Now I have to go out shopping and find something that doesn't leave me "exposed".

Excellent buy.
This pants is exceptional. The actual brand on the pants is Deng Walker / Dengxingzhe (the one I got).I have had this pants for 4 years now, and has been used extensively as both long and short. This pants has even been used to climb coconuts trees and there are no rips or bursts whatsoever. A versatile piece of apparel that has been used as beach wear, sleep wear, evening wear, hiking wear, daily wear, the list is endless. The zip and buttons are still functional, and the pants does not show any signs of aging. No repairs done.I came across this while I was looking for a replacement for a similarly-styled Saucony pants I had for about 6 years.Excellent buy!

Nice pants, a little poor on the mobility side though
Really cool pants. They look cool and the material, although very light, seems well constructed.THe only reason I gave 4 stars is that it's not very "forgiving". I.e. it fits very well and is nice and slim, but it's an "outdoor" pant, so it NEEDS to have some sort of mesh involved around the crotch area to make up for the waterproof, less moveable portion of the pant.Good pant other than that!

Other than that I have to say I really like them and enjoy having them when I'm camping or ...
I wasn't expecting to have them not fit on me or be XL when I have in the past have purchased & many same situations with purchasing clothing from another country that when I select a size it's usually smaller then the actual size are usually smaller or don't fit. Unlike this that they're to big on me & XL the exact size. But nothing that a belt can't fix. Other than that I have to say I really like them and enjoy having them when I'm camping or out in the woods & awesome. Also they're waterproof windproof and very comfortable just like in the description. I definitely will be purchasing more in the future

The sizes are huge.
I bought medium. They fit as if they were XL. Also, the zipper to detach the legs was kind of low - meaning they were basically 5/6 pants with the bottoms off. Otherwise they were cool pants. Still considering getting a new pair. But do I need S or XS?

Limited mobility
One hour into my hiking trip I stepped over a log and the seam in the crotch area completely split. I spent the next three days of my trip with my crotch exposed. Zero give in the crotch area of the pants. Pants would most definitely benefit from some kind of mesh material and flexibility in the crotch area. Cheap buy but not recommended.

Nice golf wear
My husband is an avid golfer and wears these when the weather is a little wet. It is well made with lots of zipped pockets and options. He's 5' 7" so the mediums were a little long on him but otherwise they fit really well.

I'm happy
Quality seems really good. Fit was a bit bigger than expected but not a deal breaker. Good pants for the money.

Not a good investment!
The pants ripped the second day of hiking. Very poor quality.
