ChiaoGoo Nostepinne Wood 1097

It's nice, well made, but small. I went out and purchased a French rolling pin for the same price- much better results.

I already have a swift and ball winder, so the nostepinne is especially helpful for rewinding smaller amounts of yarn left over from projects. You can, of course, use it to make a center-pull ball or not. There are a number of YouTube videos that show how to do this. The smoothness and weight of this nostepinne are just fine. For my use, I might have chosen a shorter one, but this size still works well. I will probably never get another one, as this one will no doubt last many generations.

The product is exactly what I expected after reading the seller's description. Winding a yarn "cake" ( flat on each end) takes a little practice, but that has nothing to do with the product. No rough spots on the surface and very pleasing to the eye.

The Nostepinne is a wonderful tool. Just takes a little getting used to but you can have a center pull ball of yarn in just no time. I have enjoyed learning how to use this wonderful piece of equipment.

Need better instructions like Nostepinne for Dummies step by step video.I make small ones but nothing of size I still don’t have to proper concept

Only minor issue (and this is probably personal preference thing) I wish it was a little longer to make larger yarn cakes. Easy to use, wood is smooth, works well.

I was so happy to find this product. I sat right down and made a center pull ball of yarn just perfectly. It is well made.

Does not make balls big enough to work on chiaogoo spinners
