The Staedtler Text Surfer Highlighters Are Awesome! Just Don't show them to anyone else! I did that andBoth sets that I purchased were Borrowed Permanently by Office Managers! And Yes, They Are that Good!The Vibrant Colors are a winning feature for highlighting important notes and schedules or to just get CoworkersAttention for upcoming meetings! For the brief time I owned them they were very functional and let Me convey Ideasand thoughts, next time I order them, I will try not to advertise them!

Amazing vibrance, easy to hold
Outstanding brightness. Easy to hold, these things practically explode color and brightness. Love these, a huge upgrade over my previous basic highlighters.

Bleeds through Bible
These are GREAT highlighters except they DO bleed through my Bible.

Costs more but does the job
As advertised, these markers do not smear inkjet printed documents - can't vouch for laser prints personally. They are bright but not overpowering to the print beneath, and are better than most about bleeding through the paper. It helps not to press down when you use the marker. I've tried and abandoned a lot of markers, and these are keepers. They cost more but all the colors are usable, the slanted nib works well contacting the page. Nice square, non-rolling design with tight-fitting lids. Very Germanic.

I used to hate highlighters because I saw them as a necessary evil. No, most of them don't work well (they smudge, bleed through, and highlight unevenly) -- but we still need to highlight.That's why I was thrilled to see TheSweethome did a thorough review just as I was marking up a business book I wanted to study.I ordered the Staedtler Textsurfers and was shocked by the difference.Move one of these across a line of text and you get perfect, 100% coverage.No light and dark areas. No smudges. No bleed-through to other pages.Just a perfect highlight.The only problem is, I forgot to bring one of these on a business trip -- and couldn't find them at three different office stores.Moral of the story: don't settle for anything less, and stock up since they're somewhat hard to come across if you need them the same day.
