We have only used these once to transport a lot of clothes between houses. The plastic and zippers held up with no tears or holes. They have a large capacity and the plastic is thicker and more sturdier than a black trash bag. I did buy black contractor bags that are even larger and heavier duty than the bags and liked them as well. They had flaps but not handles.I elected to invest in these bags, since I thought they would come in handy on car and camping trips, when we put things in a bag and would like to see what is inside. They will pack down better than a plastic tote box.

I moved 15 hours away in an SUV. I used a few boxes and 6 of these wonderful bags. I was so impressed! They are very sturdy, easy to tote around, and you can see what is in each bag. Have you ever moved and upon arrival, have no idea what the exact items were in each box? This eliminates that problem entirely! Also, they are so efficient to store--you can fold them up and tuck away for future use. Love this innovative packing tool!

There are two versions of this bag, each with slightly different dimensions. This version is 18" wide and approx 12" high. The other version is 12" wide and approx 14" high. The correct dimensions are clearly stated in the description and in the accompanying images but I managed to order this version (short&wide) when what I wanted was the other version (taller&skinnier).The main product photos resemble each other and the prices are similar. We are moving to another state and these are the best thing for moving since sliced bread. They have carried everything. I mean packed to the brim. Its amazing how much weight they hold. We pack them and bring them back home to pack some more. I love that they are see through too. It’s going to be perfect to pack things away once we get settled into our new home. I’m visualizing sweaters and blankets not to mention my doilies.

Clear is nice to be able to see what you’re moving/storing but there’s are just too thin, not strong enough for the intended student move.

My "KEEP ME TOASTY" oversized king size quilt ex-storage bag fell apart. So I bought this bag. It worked. The quilt fitted with some room left over. The bag is strong, see through, roomy, sized well and did I mention, the quilt fitted.!

You can stuff blankets in this, but that's about it. The plastic is very, very thin. Might be compatible with the ikea trolley, but not the same quality.

I purchased these totes for moving some items to another city and to allow me to store them until ready to use. These totes meet my requirements. I especially like the fact that I can see what I have in each tote.
