These chalk pieces do the job perfectly! All arrived intact without chips, cracks or breaks. I love that it’s a variety of colors so no matter the material color I’m working with, I can see it clearly once I mark it.It’s good enough to stay on while working with the fabrics, yet wipes away easily with just your fingertips once you’re done and no longer need it.I’m not sure of the staying power of it over time as I finish one project at a time and when I do batch work the chalk marks aren’t usually on there longer than 24 hours, but I can say it stays put for 24 hours with no issues.I highly recommend this chalk! It’s a great deal at a pretty low price. I’m very frugal and I think I’ll be set for at least a year with this purchase. I store them in the box the come in. Each piece is separated by a small piece of cardboard to keep them separated so the colors don’t blend, and I suspect this is also how they arrived so safely.

The chalk is perfectly functional and everything you'd want in a product like this. Subtracting one star because a single piece arrived broken, but said piece is still usable, so I'm not too miffed about it.

Excellent price, triangle works fine and color options White/Blue/Yellow/Red are great for different sewing color materials. Well packaged in a small box with cardboard between each triangle. The triangle chalk marks material easily and can rub it off to remove.UPDATE: Chalk residue. I've used the white chalk on blue material for masks and just put them in the laundry. The chalk came off. I used the blue chalk on black masks, washed them by hand and chalk came off. I've made one pink mask and used the blue chalk and the chalk lightly shows. Maybe the solution is to use the darker chalk on dark material and lighter chalks on lighter material. Youtube has a video that wet wipes remove sewing chalk.

I felt like even though these were chalk, I can still use them if they arrived broken. Luckily mine were all still in one piece! These are AWESOME. I love how easy the chalk applies to the fabric, not only that, there are multiple colors for whatever color fabric you use! The chalk doesn’t come onto your skin easily either. Which is nice, so you don’t have to worry about chalk residue on your fingers. I almost had a hard time getting these out of the box, but I realized, give a light squeeze on the sides on the box, and you’ll be able to comfortably pinch your fingers in the slot of the color chalk you want and easily pull it out without tension! There’s also a cute emblem in the middle of them. I will definitely be buying these again in the future! Thank you!

Almost all of the chalk came broke and out of the box. It was all over the inside of the Amazon bag, and all of my other products. Only 4 pieces survived. I was pretty disappointed, the box that contained all of the chalk was busted open and that is why there was a pile of crumbled chalk in my Amazon packaged. Other than that. The ones that are still in tact seem to work for my garment. Just be aware that these are delicate and a few might come broken.

I love this chalk! Mine came in great shape. No chips, breakage, etc. They are perfect. It glides on the fabric with ease. I have not worried about if it will come off because I use it on the wrong side of the fabric. I have not had luck with rotary cutters, so this for me was perfect. The colors are perfect for different color fabrics. They make perfect lines and I don't have to press down very hard to make the lines. It goes on very easily. Would buy again!

very easy to get a pigmented line. i think some of the reviews said they break easily. havent had that experience and ive dropped them, thrown them around, tossed them, and had them at the bottom of a very messy bag lol. they are all still in one piece. they also work on difficult fabrics. i used them on a shimmer knit and it showed up well. you dont even have to press that hard, light pressure is fine
