Columbia Men's PFG Tamiami II Long Sleeve Shirt

Product was fine. What I am wondering is when did privacy packages go away. I don’t like is everyone in the whole world knowing what I ordered. Especially if this was supposed be to be a surprise.

Let me start by saying I've been looking for a shirt to match the quality and performance of the Columbia Titanium convertible pants I purchased while in Australia in 2008. I've had a few false starts due to sizing, but I think I've finally found what I've been looking for. This shirt will keep the UVA/UVB rays off of me while in Arizona, which is my number one concern. The roll up sleeves are a tiny bit bulky at the elbow (sure do love those zip off pant legs, kinda wish Columbia made shirts with zip off long sleeves), but that's pretty much of a nit-pick. The shirt fabric seems to be a little bit warmer than the Titanium pants fabric, but not so much that it becomes a big issue -- just a little bit of one. I usually wear XL Tall in most shirts, but this shirt is sized so that XL works best for me. Columbia's shirt sizing seems to be all over the place, depending on which style you choose. The fit of the Tamiami II in XL, though, seems to be closest to what I've seen in shirts of other brands, with perhaps just a little more length in the sleeves than I need (maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch) and just a touch less than I'd like in the body at the sides (but I like the sides to be pretty long, so maybe that's just me). Not perfect sizing, but pretty close to perfect. And this is a very, very comfortable shirt in terms of feel and temperature. All in all, a good shirt that seems like it will be durable, comfortable and offer good protection from the sun.

This particular style, Tamiami 2 long sleeve, runs a bit big - i normally wear a men's large for collared, long sleeve, shirts. In this case the "medium" would have fit better BUT i bought this for the purpose of using in hot (Arizona summer) weather while day hiking. In that particular situation the larger fit worked wonderfully to keep the air flowing through the shirt and me feeling cool! While hiking i kept the sleeves long for protection but after the hike, during cool down, the buttoned "sleeve holders" (for lack of better name) were very nice to keep the sleeves up - as with most waffle weave high tech fabrics, the material is silky and likes to unravel if rolled up. A small minus is that the abrasion resistance of the material is low: i kept my camera on a neck lanyard and the rubbing took a noticeable toll on the appearance of the fabric - it pilled up after a week of use in this fashion. Otherwise i am pleased with this shirt and would recommend it: Columbia makes very good stuff.

I bought this shirt for working in the hot and sunny summer months. I usually get XL shirts, but the L fit me well, although the sleeves are a little long. Very lightweight, vented and comfortable. Keeps the sun off your body well, helping you stay a little cooler in these hot and sunny 100+ degree days. The shirt also drys quickly since it is so light. Much better than a cotton long-sleeve shirt.The only downside of this shirt is that it doesn't stay tucked in well, the shirt is split up higher at the hip than most other button down shirts of this style.

The shirt is beautiful, but it's beautiful because is a casual shirt that don't make you look out if you put a sport jacket. I travel light and I avoid been over dress neither under dress -trashy preppy kind of thing-. This shirt is the perfect companion to cover those situation when just casual doesn't cut it. In several trip I been exposed to appear in places where jacket are required or just feel propel wearing one. The shirt hold the lines pretty good even after pulled out of the back-pack. It's machine washable but I don't dry it on the drier, I hang it on a hanger and let it dry like that -it dry in less than two hours-. At those prices two of this shirt goes a long way for travelers and for going out on a casual atmosphere restaurant, complement it with a sport summer jacket and you are up to an good fashion impression.

ok so I have to say I LOVE these shirts...except being asked constantly if I fish...(funny but true)...I bought 2 and liked them enough to buy 4 more in various colors...Pro: they wash well, awesome in the humid or wet weather, don"t stain to easily, straight rather than bloused fit, collar holds up, many compliments from people "nice shirt" ect..., adaptable for golf or dinner out with the quick roll down sleeves (excellent when it cools down quick and yet cool and comfortable in the high humidity), last but not least the stretch fabric ...gives just enough to not have you feeling the shirt when "swinging" (in my case a golf club)Cons: sizing...I found the short sleeve style to be running one size small but the long sleeve version a perfect fit

This shirt was a great buy at $28. Very light weight and perfect for sunny warm days. Ditto on what said about the shirt except the size. I normally wear a large (17x34 long sleeve) and found that this one was the perfect except the back when I cross my arms over my chest. This area is just a little tight. The hoop located on the upper outside of the sleeve is perfect when you want to roll the sleeves up. I do reccomend this for anyone that wants to enjoy the outdoors but not worry about excessive sun exposure or bugs. I'll buy the fossil color if the price drops.

Columbia es garantía, pero esta prenda en particular viene más delgada la tela que normalmente. Es un punto a considerar.

I am 5'10" 200 lbs. I normally buy large, but large was too big so I gave it to my father and ordered a medium for myself. The medium fits perfect. It's a great shirt for hot weather, nice and light and comfortable.

It is fine and got here promptly. Only thing will wrinkle really easily and a lot bigger than most large.
