Classic Swiss Peeler, Carbon Steel Blade, Made in Switzerland

I wish I could have given this a higher rating but I can't. The peeler doesn't make sense to me. If we are taught to move a knife away from us when cutting, then why is it I have to move this peeler toward myself when peeling? I thought I'd try it out to learn something new, but I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Good basic peeler. Glad to see it also had a small coring side "hook", something that is often a weakness of Swiss peelers.

This thing workED really well.. that is... until it rusted. It was delivered 5/13, and it rusted (see pic) today 6/29. And since it's just outside of the return window, I cannot get a replacement. Maybe you'll have better luck, but it did not work out for me.

The blade rusts very easily so I have to scrub to get the rust off all the time.

Using this makes preparing Butternut squash easy!! Seriously, it peels the tough skin with almost no effort. Get one today!

Don’t buy unless you’re up to date on your tetanus shot. The blade rusts and the handle is flimsy.
