The sheers hold an edge well, cut right through course, wiry hair with quick, sharp snips (like for trimming a mustache), or slightly longer cuts in a wider area (like blending a short cut style). They have a nice, substantial weight in the hand without feeling overly heavy or like cheap material. NO wiggle at the joint! Even after several haircuts. Whoohoo!I do think they would get heavy over several hours of cutting clients' hair - I'm an amateur who only cuts my own hair, my masc partner, and 2 other friends of masc and femme/neutral presentations.I dig the case for its home the vanity drawer, and the scissors feel good and maneuverable in my hand. Absolutely worth the $30ish I paid.

First rate product. Through a lot of trial and error usually you purchase a product for specific wants or needs. You try something for the first time. You base a standard off of it and most of the time it is sub par. So, you attempt to purchase something else and it’s usually more expensive because we seem to think price should parallel quality and performance. I can’t possible think of what might raise the bar more than this product. It works! My application for this is predominantly used for my patients in a nursing home. Due to covid 19 many patients are bogged down in a precautionary quarantine whose health cannot afford to be exposed to the growing infection rates that the virus has caused. So as an essential caregiver I find ways to bring healthy creature comforts in by such things like grooming products. I work with patients of diverse backgrounds, different hair types, and different sexes. There’s nothing like a fresh shave or haircut to lift spirits. These scissors are well made, ergonomic, and versatile. Difficult to price these items since they pay for themselves over time. I do think they are well priced for the offering but unsure if it’s the marketing since many other scissors are manufactured similarly and from the same places. It does mean something for certain tools to fall into my hands though and so the worth can sometimes outweighs the costs. For me my patient are happy and that makes me happy so it’s really priceless. If someone asks to look like Audrey Hepburn in Charade or Leonardo DiCaprio in The Great Gatsby and I can deliver with the tools at hand There’s really no other compliment. 5 star and first rate!

This is my second pair of shears I’ve bought from this brand. I’m a professional hairstylist and these are great for the price. They arrive super sharp and cut through the hair like butter on wet or dry hair. I find that these shears don’t need to be resharpened until 3 or 4 months of use. I cut roughly 10-15 haircuts a week and they hold up pretty well. I’ve been doing hair for over 3 years now and always on the lookout for budget friendly options. Higher end shears cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars. It’s crazy how expensive they are. If you’re just starting out or need budget friendly options, these are a great pair to choose from.

These scissors were very nicely packaged and perform very well! (especially for the price)For the last few years, I have been cutting my husband’s and father’s hair about every 4-6 weeks. I had previously been using sewing scissors with good results 😬 but wanted something a bit more professional. I didn’t want to pay the typical prices for hair cutting scissors but also didn’t think any of the cheaper options would perform the way I was hoping (i.e. these scissors) but I was WRONG.I appreciate the “finger rest” (if that’s what you call it?? 🤔) It makes the cutting process very smooth and comfortable. I also like the weight of these as they seem to provide nice balance to the hand while cutting. The blades themselves are very sharp and cut SO WELL.My husband even commented after only a minute of cutting his hair that there was significantly less slight pulling when using these! Overall, we are both very happy with these. I’ve used them several times since and trimmed my own ends with them and always have awesome results! (for an amateur at-home haircut)
