Very easy to put together
Was a bit worried how my kitten 5 months old would take to this. Was very surprised. Easy to put together with sensor. Kitten loves it. 5*

Best item bought in ages.
I was recommended this by a friend that bought one and i can honestly say it is the best item I have ever bought for my cat, a really pleased with it and my boy Milo loves it too

Very happy for the price and size. Nice to have a choice of tap or waterfall pour too. Nicely lit as well.

Draws in the cats attention to drink more water.
I Always found it tough to convince my cats to drink more water but with this I'm constantly topping it up!I feel my cats favorite is the large waterfall attachment, the bathroom tap would be a close second.It's very easy to clean and dismantle, a full quick rinse around would take you 5 mins max I'd say. Personally I reuse the filter as I can until it looks like it has seen better days.Would like the filters to be cheaper but they do the job.

A novel idea but more fuss than it's worth
I bought this fountain for my cats exactly 1 year ago after reading that cats are more inclined to drink from running water.It's definitely a novelty and the cats enjoyed watching it for a while but they soon got bored and went back to drinking from any other still water source they could find (usually my glass!). My cats are also very nervous and I could see that the noise of the motor, despite being quiet, was making them edgy as it blocked out other noises as they were drinking.The thing that made me decide to stop using this is the cleaning. It's a pain having to separate the entire unit to clean it, and slotting the top section and the spout back into place is difficult as you have to line it up perfectly. Oftentimes I ended up giving in and asking my partner to help. I also don't like the fact that you have to change the filter regularly to keep the fountain sanitary.It may be perfect for some people, but I found that when my days are full of chores as it is, I much prefer the low maintenance of simply emptying, cleaning and refilling a water bowl once a day.
