It’s not big enough to put a child in it for photos, which is why I bought it. I know that’s a strange thing to say in a review, but if any other photographers are shopping for the same type of prop, they will appreciate this Ha ha ! But I will use it for decor or drinks! It’s nice. Doesn’t feel cheap.

I purchased two of these tubs to use at my children's parties. The first thing I noticed was the large size which made them very versatile and useful. At one party I lined the tubs with foil and filled them with popped popcorn so guests could serve them selves the amount they wanted. At another party I placed the tubs outside and filled them with ice and canned drinks. The tubs did not leak water once the ice melted so they served their purpose perfectly. There are a number of uses for these tubs and given their sturdy construction I know they will last a long time. I have been very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this tub to serve as a toy box for my very destructive puppy. There were several rough edges around the edges and on the handles so I smoothed them out with a small Dremel sander so they would not cut my puppy's paws or mouth. I was able to remove all the rough edges very easily so it has worked super for his toy box. Packaging was not that great. Was just put in a cardboard box without anything to keep it from crushing during transit. Luckily mine came without any damage.

We have an Old English Sheepdog. He's 100lbs. And because we're dog-crazy, he also gets a ridiculous monthly subscription of toys and treats. The result of which is a HUGE amount of HUGE sized toys that scatter around our living space. To save my sanity and try to keep my home looking reasonable, I bought two of these steel tubs to keep his toys in (one upstairs, one down) when he's not actively strewing them about. :) They fit nicely behind a couch and keep everything contained while still being accessible enough for him to play with when needed. The durability and weight of the tubs are very good and I suspect they are indestructible - which is exactly what I needed after his original toy basket got chewed on. Elegant, contained, accessible. If and when we ever aren't using these for dog toys, I suspect they will make themselves very handy in a variety of other uses (beer chillers, planters, etc.).

I stuck a large wooden trellis in the center of this, drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, and gorilla glued some metal casters to the bottom to make moving it more easy. Now I have a wonderful and cute tomato garden! Will be buying another to transfer my zucchini to before winter comes!

I was looking for different options for adding some color to my front yard - these made perfect, cost effective flower pots. I just drilled a couple of holes in the bottom for drainage and added an assortment of flowers. On one of the tubs, I used stick-on mailbox lettering to put my house number on so it also highlights my address. These pots will last forever and are very easy to clean for next years' flowers.

I don't like plastic (I really don't know what impact the chemical used to galvanize a steel tub has on the environment). Anyway, I need a tub to soak plants when transplanting/dividing that is not too heavy for me to move. This works well. I would really like one that is a little larger, but the next size up is too big for me to manage.

I wanted this for a party to put soda bottles in ice. This size was perfect and the oval fit on the buffet line just right.However the tub did not sit flat. It was constructed poorly and it wobbled terribly. We had to hammer it with a rubber mallet which broke the seal. We used silicone to seal it up again. The dip was sloppy and too thick in many places. If i had seen it in store, I would've picked another one and left this one on the shelf!
