Concealed Carry Hand Gun Level-3 Retention Holster for Sig Sauer SP2022/SP2009 Black IMI RSR Defence Gun / Pistol Holster

I was having difficulty finding a holster for my Sigsauer SP2022 as none of the well known stores including Galls and Quartermasters did not carry the holster for this particular model anymore. After loosing hope, one night just by accident i typed in the model number of the gun into Amazon's search bar which would have been the last place i would find firearm accessories.Unbelievably, a listing did show up which was less than half the price of what i saw on an e-bay listing which did not have a picture. the e-bay listing quoted a price of $180 and change. Had i not been lucky with this Amazon listing, i would have gone for that e-bay one.Now for the Gamble part. I knew i could trust Amazon's no questions asked money back guarantee so i decided to place the order and wait. After 2 weeks, i was worried about my order being lost in the mail since it was being shipped from Israel so i decided to submit a query to the seller. Within less than 12 hours, the seller responded via phone call apologizing for the delay reassuring me that the package was already in Transit and en route to my location. Furthermore, he stated that if by the end of next week, the package were not to show up, he would mail me a new holster via speed post free of charge!It was nice to such a seller whose goal was customer satisfaction. A week later, i entered the tracking number on the usps website and it did show up at the New York Postal Distribution Center. I received the package 3 days before the estimated delivery date and the pistol fit perfectly in it.The Holster is Made in Israel and does not feel flimsy like the cheap plastic made in china ones. The firearm fits snug and I'm very happy with the level 3 protection it provides. The holster is clipped on to the duty belt with the use of 3 teeth like structures built into it.If there was an improvement i could suggest to the seller, it would be that the holster would have a buckle and the belt would pass through it so in the instance of a struggle, the holster would stay attached to the belt without the user worrying about the firearm being transferred to the wrong side of the law. Despite this little drawback, i would rate this seller as a 7 star in customer service.

The CONS of this item is that the lever for the retention holster was thought to be broken upon arrival. It took me a bit, because i had to get out an allen wrench and reattach the lever to the holster. It came attached but popped off. My thought behind it is that the screw was not screwed in enough. It almost warranted a return because it busted some threads, but with pressure and careful screwing, it was re-installed without much effort. I just didn't want to break any more threads.The only other issue is that the holster does not fit into glove boxes. I have a '13 charger, and it seems that the dimensions of the object are outside the range that can fit inside.The holster is great, but make sure that screw is tight before regular use.

Wow, I wish I could find this make for some other pistols I own. I use this holster for one of my carry and concealment guns is the vehicle. It will not dislodge from the holster unless you release it. I think it adds to the security although I would not recommend this be the only way you secure the weapon from children, kids are resourceful and might figure a way to draw the gun from the holster.Well made and worth the money.

Awesome!!! This holster fits my Sig Sauer sp2022(2nd gen w/ picattany rail)perfectly!!! Tryin to find a duty holster for this weapon is like pulling teeth. Bought a Blackhawk serpa 2 dual retention holster, didn't fit, had to heat it up over the oven and use a screwdriver to open up the bottom and Jam the gun in. It loosened up but still not safe for a duty holster. I also bought the IMI low belt ride loop model# IMI-Z2300 fits like a glove. Being able to go from paddle to full duty rig with the same security options is also what's so awesome about this holster!

This holster fits the sig. SP 2022 perfectly. In fact I think it's actually sig. branded. My SP 2022 fits like a glove and the levels the retention I have absolutely no issues or problems with whatsoever. So if you have an SP 2022 and you're on the fence, get off it by one.

Do not buy if you want to conceal. Nice and useful for my uses in the field. Only thing is practice to make your draw faster as it does have that second delay with 2 release.
