It holds water, it measures amounts of water, it hasn't broken yet. Yep, its a fine bucket. Now I just wish someone would tell me why All buckets are so expensive? The price on this one was fine...for the bucket market. The seller was better than fine, fast and trouble free.

OK, so I am not using this pail for its intended use. We have a Hobie tandem kayak which has 8-inch round "Twist and Seal" hatches in the deck. This bucket is the perfect size to fit down into the lip of the hatch mounting rim. I just took off the handle, trimmed away the plastic handle-mounting bosses and cut a 1-inch radius semicircle out of the rim for the latch mechanism to go through. Hobie charges $25.69 for their 5-inch deep gear bucket. This bucket doesn't have the snap-on lid, like the Hobie does, but theirs are known for not fitting properly anyway. This way, I get a deeper gear bucket, which keeps my stuff from rolling around inside the kayak for $2.47. It may not be waterproof on its own, but as long as I have the waterproof hatch lid closed, it doesn't matter to me. I'm sure this would be great as a paint/mixing bucket too, with all the graduated markings on the side, but I am thrilled with the alternative use I discovered for it.

It is everything that a plastic bucket with volume markings on it should be. How much more review do you need.

Purchased this thinking it had multiple mixing ratios. Surprised there was no ratio for 1:1, so I almost wasn't able to use it, but used the ounce lines to line up -- just not sure its the same working with it that way. Hope epoxy cures using it like that so I'll find out in a few days.

I bought this to use for household cleaning - I use it to mix hot water, bleach, and Tide powder (hello fellow gocleanco cleaning army members!). It's a nice smaller size than the Lowe's bucket I was previously using, good for cleaning one room at a time. I prefer this so I can dump the dirty water and mix a fresh batch of cleaning product as needed. With this method, I'm wasting less product.

Only after buying did I remember that I could just buy a pail of ice cream, eat the delicious ice cream and then use the pail to wash my car. lolSo maybe do that.Product is what it says it is, though - if a tad bit flimsy.

I used 2 of these to measure how much old and nasty automatic transmission fluid came out into the bucket the replace it will fresh fluid. Measurements are accurate, and easy to read. These are well made, and should hold up a long time. Now if I can just get the smell of burnt ATF out of my garage...
