I was searching for a wig for my Avatar costume because I didn't like the one that was made to go with it. This wig was absolutely perfect! I was concerned about the large braid on top after reading some reviews about it sticking up too high, but as you can see from the pics the wig flows nicely and it's simply amazing. I added some feathers and I'm saving the beads that came with the wig so I can add them to the wig next year for my pirate wench costume. Fantastic product at this price point!

Much better than I expected! Quality wig, great accessories.

Had to spruce it up a bit, but was impressed with the base wig. I did not use the bandana that it came with as it was way too large and cumbersome. I had to re-do the large braid in the back to “de-puff” it, but a super easy fix. For the price I wish the wig was a bit more realistic as the base wig, it was just a bit too tightly wound and perfect. Dreads are NOT like that in real life.Overall I am satisfied with my prurchase. My costume was a crowd pleaser!

This wig is perfect, the only thing I didn’t like was the sail needle, it’s basically a chopstick and it was attached to the wig on the side instead of the front like in the picture. I removed the needle and replaced it with a more accurate one I carved and added with twine. Other than that I love it.

I was a tad worried when i purchased this in july of last year but when it arrived a few weeks later i was extremly surprised. It's not screen accurate but for the price it's the best around and close enough in my opinion. The bandana needs to be weathered (which ive recently started doing) and the dangles can be easily modified or replaced for those who want to go all out. My only two issues is the wig feels a tad bulky (which can probably be fixed but i also have a larger head to begin with).I will say you'll want to craft/buy you a sail needle (wig bone) since the one that comes with it is basically a chop stick lolStarted on mine yesterday. This wig is exactly what you think it is... a cheap costume wig. Don't get too excited about it, but it will work for that special occasion that you need to dress up as Sparrow..The main braid is huge, and very much in the way of putting on a hat. Be ready to do some re-working of the braid the make it fit a Tricorn Hat. I would not buy this item again...

The wig fits perfectly. It is very well made and it looks really good. Perfect addition to the jack sparrow costume. BUT it is waaayyy to expensive. you could find the same exact wig on ebay for like 20 bucks. SAME EXACT ONE. i learned that way too late. Great Wig, but not worth the money.

How good this wig is comes down to what you’re looking to use it for. If you’re looking for a cheap wig to go with your Halloween costume, it works fine. You’ll likely find it uncomfortable to wear with any costume hat you find but it’ll get the job done.However, if you’re looking for a legitimate Captain Jack Sparrow wig, you’re going to find a lot of issues here. I disliked the wig so much that as soon as I saw it, I ordered a handmade one from Etsy (seen in my review picture on the right for comparison).The first issue is the sail bone in the wig is basically just a chopstick and it’s misplaced. The beads are HUGE. They are way bigger than anything he wears on screen. And of course as all the reviews mentioned before, the 4 inch poof of hair on the top of your head. You’ll look more like Captain Marge Simpson if you don’t wear a hat with this and as stated before any costume hat I tried barely fit around the wig. But make no mistake, you can’t wear this without a wig. It looks extremely cartoony.If you order the acme brand jack sparrow hat, the wig does work okay. It’s not the best but it will hold you over until you can get something better. All in all, save your money and look elsewhere.
