Really amazingly delicious with whole juicy mulberry pieces
Absolutely amazing and delicious! Whole fruit, soft and squishable onto your toast. I bought this as a present and he and I both really thought it was excellent. Don't expect a thick gelatin, this seems all homemade with natural ingredients, the spread isn't very think, but I think that is because they left the fruit whole. Once you spread it then the fruit mashes a little and spreads, making it more like what I am used to here in the US. Some fruit still has short thin stems on them, but very edible, didn't detract from the taste; or you can take the time to pull off these small stems. Regardless, very very good. I've never had mulberry before and this was the only one on Amazon that wasn't freeze dried or with lots of other junk in it. This product seems very pure. Reminds me a bit like blackberry and looks a little like it.This is a product of Armenia and comes in a thick glass jar with metal lid. It is VERY hard to open. My strong friend was unable to open it until after several attempts we tapped the side of the lid on a table until it released the vacuum a little and then no problem opening it. Enjoy!

BEST FOR THE DOLLAR!
I have found this item on Amazon.com, and was a fair price as well. If you want this for yourself, buy it. SW

I found the mulberries a bit tough and the jam way too sweet. I was remembering our two mulberries trees in our yard from my childhood. Those were red mulberries. My Mother made the best mulberry pies!

Mulberries, rememberance of things past
This was a gift for my husband's birthday. He remembers the mulberry tree on his grandfather's farm in Florida and he loved every drop of this preserve. He ate it on cornbread just like his grandmother used to make it. It was so wonderful to find a source for preserved mulberries. Thank you.
