Likes: lightweight shoes with adequate toe space even though the toe box appears slightly pointed. Heel box is snug but comfortable. Good ventilation. The sole has lasted longer for walking compared to regular running shoes based on walking 3 miles per day. ( 5’ 8” tall, 155 lbs)Dislikes: cushioning could be thicker.

I usually wear size 11, but with insoles I did go up to an 11.5. The packaging and box was professionally done. With the insoles the extra half up in size was brilliant. These 997H are more stylish and comfortable than when I wore them in high school!

These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn! I’m usually a Nike guy but after having feet pain the dr recommended new balance. Proud to say I will never go back to Nike!!!

Es un par muy cómodo, muy casual para usar en diversas ocasiones, lo pedí en talla 25.5 cm ya que en otros modelos de new balance pido esa talla normalmente tomando en cuenta pequeñas diferencias que pueda haber estos los sentí muy bien, la verdad me gustó mucho la silueta y el color en gris de este modelo.

I suffer from osteoarthritis in both of my feet and ankles, and find it difficult to walk. In addition, both of my knees are also wearing out with a lot of pain. I have tried several walking shoes over the years, but nothing seemed to help. These NB 997H shoes were highly recommended so I thought I would take a chance and ordered them. I checked prices locally and found they were over $130 at the stores, so the Amazon price, even with the shipping fees, was much less. They were delivered within the 2 week time frame which surprised me as they were shipped from Britain! I noticed the difference the minute I put them on, and I have been walking with them every day for the past 2 weeks. I would say 75% of my foot pain has eased, with significant improvement in my knees. I am very pleased with these shoes, and I pray they will last a good long time. So far I highly recommend them.
