This filter does NOT fit a Skuttle 2001 humidifier. Item does not measure the 16 5/8 in length as in description. This pad is about 1 inch shorter than the original. But filter came with wick which looks like an original. Filter described online incorrectly referenced fitting a specific humidifier but filter did not fit as it is almost 2 inches small. Read other users’ comments! They repeat the same issue! Seller incorrectly says filter is for a specific humidifier model but it fits latter model! The one shipped is two inches short!

Good replacement for our Skuttle 2001 humidifier

This is too small for the humidifier and caused it to leak. This is not on Amazon’s return policy and has to be approved by the company. After multiple attempts I haven’t been able to reach the company for return approval.

I had to fasten the pad to the plastic holder with zip ties because the filter was about an inch too short. It kept falling out of the plastic holder and into the main heating duct. Once I used the zip ties, it worked fine.
