Better than expected
I got 2 pairs of these to make swapping my strap between basses easier. As it turned out the extra freedom of movement they provide is very comfortable. They also cause the strap to be further from the body of the instrument which I find is good too.

Don’t inspire confidence
They work just the same as the Ernie Ball ones, but don’t feel nearly as well made. The strap button is very,very thin at the bottom, and the whole thing has a sort of wobbly feel to it. Can’t comment on the durability of the gold plate as I returned them. Also they are bigger than the Ernie Ball ones, and stick out further from the guitar. I guess they are half the price for a reason.
