No More Dropped Signals
Installed an aftermarket radio with Sirius Satellite Radio into my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Using the small antenna they included and got a lot of dead spots in the desert. Read all the forums for Jeeps and talked to the installer and they all said the same thing "Move the antenna around to get the best spot" and most agreed that you just have to accept the dead spots because of the way the jeep is made, the small antenna is meant for the front dash. And you can't expose it to the elements, so no use trying to put it into the frame.I don't accept that and found this antenna. It's for a truckers mirror but I can adapt. It works great, looks great and will be moved on the rack I am building for the roof. Most people don't even notice it.My wife has had factory installed Sirrius radio in her car and we almost match dropped signals in both vehicles. So I know its the terrain and not the antenna.Easy to install and it works!

Works exactly as it was desribed!!
Commercial truck driver. My entertainment while driving is SirusXM radio. Started getting intermittent signal, and message on radio screen kept saying ‘Check Antenna’ My problem totally went away as soon as I connected the antenna. Took a bit of patience to snake the antenna cable down through the mirror mount bracket. And had to open up 3 different dash panels. Plenty of extra coax. Just zip tied extra coax out of the way. Easy enough!!!!

Better than stock. Maybe not.
I just installed a new Kenwood DDX471HD stereo with a SiriusXM SXV200V2 tuner in a 2014 F150 truck. The SXV200V2 tuner comes with a small magnetic mount antenna, but my previous XM radio used a similar little mag mount antenna and it wouldn't stay on the truck when it went through a car wash. For this install, I wanted an antenna that was more firmly attached and low profile so the rotating brushes at the car wash won't yank it loose.I mounted the Tram antenna to the inside edge of the drivers side front fender using a stainless steel, NMO style, fender mount. To check the performance of the Tram antenna, I parked the truck in my garage with the antenna directly under the center of my metal, roll-up garage door. I still had one bar of signal on the Kenwood radio display and I did not lose service. Then I placed the new mag mount antenna that came with the SXV200V2 tuner on the fender next to the Tram and connected it to the tuner. The Kenwood showed no bars and I had no service. My old mag mount antenna also would not work at all under the garage door.So the performance of the Tram is better than the stock antenna that came with the tuner and it's a lot more rugged. The cable on the Tram antenna is much thicker than the stock antenna, but it's very flexible so I had no trouble running it through the firewall and through the dash.Edit- Now that I've had a few weeks of on the road use, I am disappointed to say that the performance of this antenna is not quite as good as the original magnet mount antenna I previously used. I drive a particular route fairly often so I am familiar with the dead spots where I typically lose the XM signal. I was surprised that with this new antenna, I have many more dead spots than before.

Works for what it is
These work best if you can mount this antenna slightly above the roof line you won't have a problem, I mounted it on my passenger side mirror on my semi, and I have interruptions periodically because of signal loss, but does work as it should. Best if mounted as close to roof line as you can get it.. I recommend it

uninterrupted stream of music and news and whatever
The media could not be loaded. My husband has wanted a new antenna for his truck for quite some time. We had one with a long antenna in our wishlist for a year or more. We have, I would say, a middle class income, and only my husband works. We keep a pretty tight budget and sometimes needs and wants get weighed heavily. The antenna he had finally started to really not work well and as I was going to purchase it (it would have been $22) he asked me to look for the low profile version. The low profile version, THIS version, ended up being $35, so more money. Presently, this antenna has been worth the money and made my husband VERY happy. He runs local and is home every night, but still, 16 hours a day in a truck, I want him to be happy. His Sirius radio makes him happy. He installed this in about 15 minutes and the cabling goes in through a small waterproof port above his window that was already there. He drives a pneumatic bulk tanker daycab. The connection to his mirror is very secure. It is not a big ole antenna that says HERE I AM. It is very subdued.Did he notice a difference? Yes! Not only does the sound now not break up because the wire on the old one was bad ... but THIS one seems to be more clear and does not lose signal at all. He pretty much just has an uninterrupted stream of music and news and whatever.Very happy with our purchase and no complaints at all.

this one was bad
this antennae cut out all the time. tried several times to relocate it and check connections to no avail. ordered a 14" one from another brand and this one works like a charm. im disappointed in tram since their usually better quality.

Better than Sirius antenna
With the snow and rain that we get in Washington state, their antenna can only last a year. This gets better reception than stock.
