Very supportive and quite comfy.
Update October 31, 2014: Its been nearly 3 months since I last wrote anything; I'm still sitting on this daily. Still works well as a normal cushion on my computer chair with worn out padding. Temperatures have dropped 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit (indoor temperatures around 60-65 degrees), and it does take some extra minutes for it to start squishing down now. This is a good thing to me though. This is going to be my last update; to summarize my thoughts and everything I wrote below here:-Great if you injured your tailbone and need support for whatever (harder) surface you want to sit on.-After several months of regular use (minimum 3 hours a day), it still holds shape. I'm a 190lb 5'9" man, and it makes my computer chair with worn out padding comfy (to me) again.-The cushion's firmness will always feel relatively firm. While it does feel a bit less "pressuring" on points after it squishes down, it is not what I would call soft. This is more pronounced in colder weather. I personally like this however.-In warmer weather for longer sitting sessions, you will likely sweat where you sit on this. While I was okay with that since I just needed pain relief, it may or may not be for you.-The amount of support you receive will vary somewhat with the temperatures surrounding this cushion. If temperatures are consistently over 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, you will have to get off the cushion for around 15 minutes for the support to come back. With temperatures hovering around 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit, it feels perfect to me to sit on forever.-The cushion may squish down and/or weaken a bit after much use. However, unlike a regular foam cushion I bought (which I named when I first wrote this review), it consistently works after it weakens.I bought this cushion near the middle of June; it's been over 4 full months since I first owned this. It helped my tailbone recover after 2 months of use (whereas I felt it didn't heal at all for the couple months it was injured before I received this). It keeps my most used chair comfy.I would recommend this $40 memory foam cushion. I can't speak for other brands, but this one fulfilled my original reason for purchasing such a cushion (pain relief while sitting due to tailbone) and more (made my worn computer chair feel comfy again). I cannot give this anything but 5 stars for that.-----Update August 11, 2014: Everything below still applies, minus things related to my tailbone. That is more or less completely healed now. Cushion still holding shape and overall firmness after another month of 3+ hours use every day. For my computer chair that has all the padding worn out, this keeps it comfy. Happy customer.Update July 12, 2014: After another 4 weeks, I would like to say this cushion still works well. While my tailbone pain still isn't 100% cured, sitting on this cushion has helped and is still helping me recover. The areas I frequently sit on have become a bit softer/weaker, warmer weather aside. It starts to give a bit more easily than when I first started using this. Despite that, it still suspends my tailbone well. It's also still comfy to sit on for long/extended sessions (2+ hours).I'm not sure if it has lost some of its original shape. If it had, the effect on my bum is not noticeable in long sitting sessions. I only notice that the edges feel like they stick up more than areas I put weight on. I have no photos and/or hard measurements to confirm or deny this though.Overall, at 40 dollars, I still highly recommend this memory foam cushion. Especially if you injured your tailbone like I had, and need something that will support you for long sitting sessions.Original review below:-----I am a 190 pound 5'9"-ish person. I injured my tailbone in such a way that it hurts to stand up from a chair that I sit on unless I lean forward while sitting. This really helps to alleviate that problem.Overall: 4.7/5, rounded up to 5.Pros:+I find it extremely comfy to sit on for several hours at a time.+Suspends the tailbone well, even after the memory foam starts to mold to you and squish down.+I can sit almost however I want on it, similar to how I was before I hurt my tailbone.+The curvature of the cushion feel a bit awkward at first, but they help you sit down properly and keep your seat well padded in longer sessions.+Made the office chair I use this with feel pleasant again (compared to even before I had my injury).Cons (Personal opinions for the most part):-The cover is one of the more annoying things to take off and put on again. I feel like it also hampers the shape of the cushion somewhat.-For me, while I praised the curvature of the cushion, I would have preferred some of the foam near the front put more toward the tailbone area to keep it slightly higher.-Not a complete miracle for my tailbone as I hoped. It still does remind me it's injured, but only at most around 5% of the pain compared to normal sitting sessions.Other notes about myself and the cushion:I bought this cushion and a Large Medium-FIRM Wellness Seat Cushion by TravelMate . This cushion helped far, far more than the Travelmate cushion did with my tailbone problem. As I said in my review of that Travelmate cushion, I injured my tailbone by doing situps on a firm knee pad meant for car work. I made a mistake ignoring the sharper-than-normal pain I felt doing my situps on that instead of my usual soft pillow. My pain is a result of that. (Yes I can do situps on hard ground. While it hurts, it only pressures bones around the tailbone. The overall pain was less than that day I used the knee pad). This cushion is firm when you first sit on it. It remains that way for quite a bit of time before it finally gives a bit. After it starts to give, it still takes more time for it to sink down. I have to sit on it for about 1.5-2 hours straight for it to become softer and squish down to (what I feel like is) its limit. It gives a large amount of support at first, which gradually decreases the longer you sit on it at one time. When it squishes down after adapting to your body's heat, it still provides decent support and tailbone suspension, but I personally would have liked my tailbone to stay more suspended in longer sitting sessions.Regardless, the cushion is comfortable in all states to me. If I want it firm again, I can get off of it for about 15-20 minutes and it resets itself for the most part. This is in roughly 70-75 degree weather/ indoor temperature. In the 5 days I have used it, I have used it for about 7-8 hours a day. It does not seem to have lost any of its long term shape and firmness yet. This is completely unlike the other cushion I bought.Speaking of that other cushion, I recently tried using it again to confirm how much worse it was. I'll just say it's absolutely terrible and lacking in support compared to this Cushina cushion. I ended up feeling a large amount of pain after using that one again for about 30 minutes when standing up. I gave it a 2 star rating when I did review it, but I will be downgrading it to 1 star immediately after I post this. I will also be returning that one.I'm not sure if there are better cushions for similar needs out there, as I've only tried 2. However, this one is far better than the Travelmate wellness cushion I bought earlier. This is worth the $40.

Best chair pad ever!
It is very thick just how I like my pads to be. Offers a lot of support. It's a very wide pad so it can fit in huge office chairs. I used to use Dr Tushy pads but recently they were downgraded.Went I went to re-order I found that They would wear down in 2 to 3 weeks and were made of cheaper quality and thinner than their previous pads and then I noticed they now all came with straps. Problem with this is that the straps didn't even go all the way around my chair. I do not want to be bound by pad straps due to large office chairs that I use.I went looking for a replacement and found this pad. It is fantastic. I do not have slipping and sliding issues on it. It works as intended. I feel no pain and it is just the perfect chair pad for me. I hope they never stop producing these memory foam chair pads as it is hard to find thick chair pads. You can find many thin ones that offer little to no support or that can be worn down in 2 weeks. While these last months at a time. They offer true comfort, or at least it does for me. It's worth it's price to remove that pain.If you sit in a chair 8 to 12 hours a day doing office work and constantly are going through office chairs due to their pads wearing down, this is the chair pad for you. It is great for over-weight people too. Simply lay it on the chair and sit on it. Remember that the opening part of the pad goes facing the rear of the chair. The point of this is to relieve the pressure and pain by elevating you from pressure and leaving that hole there by the tail bone to achieve pain relief. Keep your office chair as long as you want or as long as it will function and just use these pads over them.

Good Value--worth a look!
I ordered this to use for my seat at work. We aren't able to get new chairs and I found that sitting for a long time causes fatigue. This memory foam works well and seems to provide enough cushion. The price was reasonable as well. For my seat at work, it might have been better to have a fusion that fit the entire seat pan but this works pretty well for me and has alleviated the pain I have experienced. I have recommended it to co-workers.

This cushion really works!
I had a mishap on a recent holiday where a huge wave picked me up and threw me forcibly onto the beach. I landed on my coccyx with pain shooting up my spine. I have been in pain ever since and bought this cushion to help when sitting. What a relief! It is simply wonderful! With the pressure taken off my coccyx, the pain has lessened and I can sit comfortably anywhere. I use it mainly on my sofa, but also in the car and recently took it with me to the dentist’s where I knew I would be sitting for a long time. I sat through my treatment pain free. This cushion is so comfortable that I will continue to use it even when my coccyx has healed. For now it is doing a great job.

Lifetime guarantee not honored!
This cushion is advertised as having a "no hassle, lifetime guarantee" and that it "will not go flat". Don't believe it! I purchased this item because of this guarantee and I loved it at first....for about 6 mos....and guess what...it now goes flat after about 2 hours. Yes it comes back to its original shape but what good is that if it is flat during use? I contacted the seller ad was told too bad so sad, it's past the return period. I also contacted Amazon.ca and was told it's being sold by a third party so is outside the return policy and to contact the manufacturer. I tried that and all my emails go unanswered. So I have now wasted 137.00 for nothing!
