UVA and UVB protection very good. Research on SPF ratings required!
For those claiming this doesn’t offer UVB protection, here’s how the sun cream rating systems works:1. The number on the bottle is the UVB protection. This number states how many times the time-to-burn is increased.2. The little UVA mark on the back is a European standard indicating that the product provides at least one third of the SPF on the bottle in UVA protection.(The intentional system for UVA protection is between one and five stars).Applied to this product:It offers outstanding UVB protection. Factor 50 increases the time-to-burn by 50x. If previously you’d have burned in 10 minutes, now you will burn after 500 (nearly 10 hours)It also offers very good UVA protection.On the whole, this product has excellent spec, both in terms of protection and value for money.My only reservation is it seemed to irritate my face a little, though this may have been due to my sensitive skin.

EXCELLENT formula & great value!
Product is almost close to sunscreen perfection! Packs a lot of sun protection “punch” at a super affordable price in a lightweight, transparent vehicle (not paste-like & won’t leave an unsightly white cast on darker skin tones). It’s a synthetic sunscreen with the following filters for UVB protection: Octocrylene, homosalate, octisalate & Uvinul T 150..&..for UVA protection: avobenzone & Uvinul A+ (UVA type 1), ensuliozole (UVA type 2 and UVB) & Tinosorb S (UVA types 1 & 2). This is a robust mix of old school & state-of-the-art UV filters that offer overlap & redundancy, which translates to quality & dependable sun protection across the UV spectrum. Beyond the impressive array of UV filters, formula is otherwise pretty basic which isn’t a terrible thing, as all the ingredients are non-irritating & it is fragrance-free (always best for skin). Aesthetics of this formula aren’t too bad. Has a light weight, lotion texture that’s easy to apply without all of the rubbing-in & “blending” that many sunscreens require. Only complaint would be that it leaves quite the glossy finish (not to be confused with “oily” which this product is not). I suspect it’s caused by the high glycerin content in the formula (too much of a good thing?). But, that’s a minor gripe to have considering you get four 200ml bottles of a highly effective product at an amazing price! As sunscreen is something we need to apply liberally & daily, it’s great to see a product like this which is an amazing value, & frankly it is unrivalled either. Highly recommended! (pro tip: when it seems like the bottle is running out, remove pump & cut bottle CAREFULLY with a sharp knife, you will see that there’s quite a bit of product left to use that the pump can’t deliver). p.s. expiration date is 3 years from manufacture date which can be found from LOT no. printed on the back.

Spotty sun protection
Easy to apply and absorbs rapidly. Pump doesn't seem to get clogged either.Brought this as I have patches of skin without pigment and merely have to look at a picture of the sun to burn and spend lots of time outdoors.Doesn't sweat off whilst working out either.Only negative is that within 2 applications of it onto my face and neck, its caused a breakout of spots, which has not happened with other products. Possibly to do with it being so oily and how long it lasts.

Great value compared to known brands
These are great value compared to the famous brands. Half the price and they work just as well. I have the factor 50 and 30 for the kids and have had no issues. I wouldn't go back to paying for the famous names again.

Read the description carefully
I bought this suncream thinking that it provided both UVA and UVB protection as stated in the product description. However if you read further the item details do not mention UVB. The description needs amending as this is a UVA protection only product and I now have to go and buy a different brand...

No Longer Recommend
Update 2021: unfortunately I no longer recommend this sunscreen. Older filters are problematic in quite a few ways. They can sting & burn the eyes. There is research coming out that link older filters to damaging skin & coral reefs. If Amazon/Solimo Sun reformulated this with just the newer filters I think it would be great. Also it's so cheap now, I wouldn't mind if the price increased to reflect the better filters.Previous Review: This isn't greasy, doesn't sting, no scent & fantastic value. Contains a great mixture of broad spectrum filters old & new. Can be a little shiny but that's not an issue for me. Very moisturising. A good pump bottle that doesn't dispense too much product per pump.

Beware if you get even mild acne/whiteheads!
Guys... mixed review here. I've been using this suncream after a skin cancer scare and I can say that it definitely works. I've been out in the sun on long walks and didn't get any visual sign of sunburn anywhere - despite feeling the sun beating down on my arms etc. No reddening of the skin which is really good. I'm fair skinned and burn easily so there's absolutely no doubt it works. I apply it generously to the face, ears, back of the neck, shoulders, arms and legs - anywhere not protected by clothing. You are supposed to re-apply after 2 hours which I haven't actually stuck to (tend to forget) but again, there's no visible signs of burning, so the protection is lasting longer than 2 hours.Why only 3 stars? Because it's aggravated my acne big time and caused breakouts. I only used to get the odd whitehead and wouldn't even have said I had an acne problem until I started using this cream. It's gradually got worse since I started putting the cream on. So I did a bit of research and it's quite a common problem with the cheaper suncreams, they can block pores because they're "comedogenic". I wouldn't have bought 4 bottles if I'd known this, so heads up on that. I started getting spots on parts of my face where I've never had spots before, and it's because I've put the cream there. It is not a total loss for me as I will buy a better suncream for my face and use this cheaper stuff for the rest of my body. Just be aware it's not really the best suncream to use regularly on the face!One more tip... don't store it in the car, where it will get hot - it shortens the life and could make it ineffective. I didn't realise this at first!
