Installing the mount is easy. I used a bed slat (under $2
This item is actually an EZ Mount EZ 30-18, though it is not branded. Mine came without instructions, but it does not take a rocket scientist to figger it out. The only problem I have with it is that if you put it together correctly, the bottom pointing foot does not move enough to allow for a perpendicular installation. I had to mount the foot on the outside and this makes a just a hair off center, but I was able to adjust my mast to level. I too used the 10'-6" 1.38 top fence (under $12 at HomeDepot) rail as mentioned by others and my Ambient sensor array fit right in using the swaged adapter. I did not attempt to drill through the stainless steel adapter, but screwed a lag bolt through both sides of the pipe to keep it in place. I also used silicone adhesive to fill all the gaps in the swaging. Installing the mount is easy. I used a bed slat (under $2.00 at HomeDepot) and cut it into 3 pieces (2@18" and 1@5"). Painted the slat sections to match my siding and used the 18" ones to span 2 studs on the side of the house. The 5" is for the foot. Just drill and ratchet and your done! My weather station sits about 8' above my roofline. It is rock solid and easy to erect and take down. Very heavy-duty!! I still have to do the grounding. As mentioned by another, the wife approval factor is very close to zero with this method of installation, but the husband approval factor is a 10 (lol). I do wish they would lengthen the flat connection section of the foot so it would install better.

Very strong and worked great for 10ft mast up high on house
I used this mount on the side of my two story house up toward the peak to mount a 10ft mast (two 5ft sections) to put my new weather station above the roof of my house. There are no instructions as other stated. And those folks are correct that the bottom support bar is too short to mount in the middle hole as the picture on Amazon shows it. It works great if you mount that bottom support rod in the first hole (one of the two bolts that hold the other two sections together). However, then you need to add a couple washers on the second bolt to even out that middle otherwise you will tilt the mast ends in together too much. Adding the washers on the second bolt and putting the support bar on the first bolt everything lines up level with the wall. The holes are 16in apart on the left to right of both the top and bottom mount sets. And if done as I just stated, then the bottom hole for the support bar was 18.5in below the center of the two other holes. Worked out great. It holds my 10ft of mast very sturdy and in the future I can loosen the mounting nuts/bolts at the end where the masts are to lower the mast down and bring the weather station down to me (on a ladder) for battery change once per year or so, then push the mast back up and tighten back down the nuts on the bolts.

It has no instructions
Although it seems to be obvious how the Y-wall mount will go together there were no instructions, i.e. owners manual supplied with the device. Whoever manufactured the the mount was, to this purchaser, not proud of his product as there was no name of the manufacturer on the carton or on the product itself. In spite of all that, it looks simple to put together and reasonably well made. I haven't put the device on the back of my garage yet, but I'll let you know how it works. OBTW, the mounting holes appear to be 16" apart which, as most of you folks know, is the spacing for the building construction studs most of the time, in the US which is great!

Not made to good.
This mounting assembly has parts in it that have different amounts of galvanizing on them. This makes them look lighter and darker. The flat stock looks to me like they are going to rust on the edges very quickly. The round brace is crimped in such a way that the ends are not at a right angle. The straight end is not crimped back far enough, It hits the bottom edge of the flat pieces before it tightens onto the mast pipe. Because the ends are not at 90* to each other, when the bottom of the brace hits the wall, it is and looks crooked! The crimping on the round brace is done very poorly. If you care what your house looks like, Do not buy this very bad and poorly made product. This product was not designed well at all. I think it is Junky and never used it. It is still in the box, I had to order another brand of brackets that are made a lot better. Save your money and look for something else.

As advertised
Glad that they are selling on the web, during the pandemic the local supply house was out and had no idea when they would get a re-stock. Quality is sturdy and adaptable. Thank you for your quick service.

Works great!
It was easy for me to install, even though it didn't come with instructions. Seems sturdy and reliable. I read that it's USA made but didn't find anything stating as such on the packaging or item.

Excellent mount, easy to install
Basic bracket is very nice. These are getting very difficult to find.. Well made and very strong when assembled. No instructions but obvious how to assemble. The photos show the third leg positioned between the the side brackets. When done that way it binds badly when pushing third leg against wall. I mounted mine on outside, works great. As advertised, ships quick and good value.
