Fantastic first book
I learned of this cookbook from watching "Ladies of London". Julie's enthusiasm and fit lifestyle are addicting. I have made several recipes from this book. Pros are the incredible color photos and the general overall top quality of the book. The recipes are easy to follow, although the ingredients can be hard to find (even in a big, west coast city). Everyone who has tasted the recipes, loves them. There are a couple of ways to look at this cookbook: you could say that the recipes are different and the ingredients difficult to find OR you could look at it as a fantastic learning tool. It's fun to replace the staples in my pantry with new, innovative and healthy food items. I read the book cover to cover, It is more than a collection of recipes, it is an education, an attitude. The fact that Julie does not shame you into going vegan made me more willing to try the dishes. Bravo Julie! I would need have guessed this was your first effort at a cookbook.

YOU WILL LOVE THESE RECIPES!!
I was hesitant to buy this book because I thought the recipes would be complicated and the ingredients hard to find. Plus I am a fan of the Bravo show Ladies of London and just wasn't convinced that Julie's cookbook would be that good after watching her this past season. I WAS WRONG. I have been wanting to find ways to incorporate more "superfoods" in my diet and I have been looking to find recipes that I could easily prep on a Sunday and eat for the rest of the week. This book allows me to do that. The recipes are quick, easy to follow and most of all delicious! I can not wait for Julie's next cookbook!!

Totally recommend!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Julie Montagu is brilliant!Easy to follow recipes and kid friendly. I love how the first few pages give you a picture of a spice, oil, things that look odd it'll have a number and by the number on the next page it'll tell you what it is and all the health benefits. There's ingredients I have never heard of in here but now that I know what it is and its benefits I totally wanna explore and apply it to cooking. With two little ones at home and one who is starting to love helping in the kitchen I couldn't think of a better way to start her off in the kitchen then with recipes as these.

I love Julie Montagu and this book was GOOD but it's not the absolute best by any stretch. The information in the front of the book about a plant based diet I had read a thousand times by now (then again I've been a vegetarian for 7 years). The print on some of the pages was difficult to read. Also the book is small for a hardcover book, which I actually liked because it takes up less space on my shelf. Nice photography and recipes.

Informative & delicious recipes. Must Have
This book is exactly what my family needed to start on the healthier eating track. Mrs.Montagu is informative, without pushing vegetarianism or judgement. It's very homey & written with love.The recipes seem very easy to make, ingredients not too hard to find, & packed full of nutrition.This book will become my go to for great recipes & I've already learned so much. It's a must have for better eating!

Great cookbook, inventive ways to prepare nutrition packed recipes. I simply love Julie's approach to teaching us how to eat better with healthful ingredients. My daughters and I are going through and preparing recipes one by one. Thanks Julie, you are brilliant!!!! The photos in this cookbook are gorgeous works of art that I feel I could even frame so kudos to your talented photographer as well!!!!Besos xo

Lots of great information. This book has actually made me change my overall diet. It has a great list for stocking your pantry and fridge with health essential items. I would recommend this to everyone.

I love this book
I love this book, it has changed my way of thinking that I ate great food...I ate ok food, this is great food! I have tried a good number of the recipes and they are all really good, love the smoothies, love the double sprout bowls and really love the granola which I now make every week with different nuts and seeds and my husband has become addicted to the matcha balls. Excellent purchase.

A "must-buy"
One of the best out there - and I have a lot of cookbooks! Easy to read, recipes are delicious and not time consuming.

I LOVE this book
I LOVE this book. It really makes healthy eating seem accessible and easy to achieve. All the recipes are easy to make and the ones I've done so far have also been super tasty. My husband and 2 year old daughter have also been enjoying them. The book is beautifully laid out and most recipes have a photo of the finished article. I would say that to eat these types of meals does take some planning in advance to ensure you have the ingredients ready for the week. I work full time and have a young daughter to look after so it is a bit of a commitment. But it's most definitely worth it - I feel much healthier, my skin is clearer and almost glowing and I have lost some weight. Julie is very inspirational and writes in a very supportive and kind way. She tells you not to stress out if you have the odd naughty meal but just to counteract it with something healthy at the next meal. I can't recommend this book highly enough if you are interested in becoming more healthy in your life. Eating a few of Julie's recipes will be one of the greatest gifts that you can give to your body.

Makes me wonder why isnt everyone eating like Julie?! :)
Julie Montagu's book exceed all of my expectations! It is not only a fantastic cookbook, it is also very interesting and holds a lot of easy to understand knowledge about superfoods and eating healthy. It is not overwhelming and welcomes all lifestyles to try the superfood lifestyle. You wont feel pressured by this book or Julie. Another great thing about the book (which sealed the 5 star review from me) is how easy the recipes are to follow and find ingredients for. This isnt a healthy cookbook that requires complex, hard to find, expensive ingredients. So far, in the several recipes I have tried, all the ingredients have been easy to find and substitute if needed! This is what makes flexible dieting so easy! I highly recommend this book for everyone especially those looking for fantastic recipe ideas and those looking to learn more about the lifestyle without being overwhelmed!

Ingredients are very hard to find if you dont live in a metropolitan area. Returning.
