This is definitely a hard brush. I usually keep my hair short and I am not a huge waver, my hair is straighter than usual. I soaked the bristles only in hot water twice to soften them and I regularly wet the brush. Eventually the paint will peel if you wet this brush at all. I know because I had a soft crown brush for years (still have it)...paint almost completely faded but brush is still very much intact. This brush feels like real wood and I think its just a great brush all around if you need a hard brush.

Good for beginners. Saw waves in 3 days. Would recommend this whole line.

..: this is NOT a hard brush, it’s actually very soft! It might hit different if you at a 1.5 or if you a straight hair waver, but if you wolfing or got coarse hair lol this junt only for looks 😂
