These straps have worked very well for my car cover. The only negative is they curl up badly when stretched over time. I have only had them for one month. Looking for an alternative material.

I have no idea why this review asked me about warmth for tie downs. It's tie downs as for right now they are holding up I shall see what happens in winter with harsh winds and snow.

This kit is just average. We experienced some 50 mph gusts and it kept my car cover on, but I definitely had to tighten them up as the product has lost its tension over time. The elastic band tension has become quite loose. It works for now but now I'm looking for other options that are more solid. Also, the straps have lost color over time, but that's to be expected due to being in the sun.

The description and photos of this product are accurate. I just didn't pay attention to the fact that when they wrote hooks have silicone, there is a photo showing the silcone is only on the tip. The hooks scratched my vehicle so I didn't use them on my car, I used them to strap down a tarp over my grill. In about 40 days in the Florida sun, the straps curled. These are not designed for more than occasional or one-time use.
