MARVEL KNIGHTS BLACK WIDOW BY GRAYSON & RUCKA: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION

I liked the first two stories but the third one was not good. The artwork is great. The artwork for the second story was very beautiful.

So! First things first: my main thought when reading this was “damn, Natasha is absolutely bat***t”.Devin Grayson’s portrayal of the seemingly cold-blooded SHIELD Agent is a few miles away from the perpetually-dependable, quips-and-ass-kicking hero of The Avengers movies, instead being someone deeply damaged and spontaneously emotional, with unfathomable motives.The first story is from 1999 and has a villain who, let’s face it, is basically Saddam Hussein, lol, then we get into the 2000s with a horrifying Face/Off style tale. The final story is a LUDICROUSLY horny Yelena adventure from Greg Rucka (Wonder Woman). All three were easy to read.The art isn’t great in the first story (poor Matt Murdoch looks especially ugly lol), but it’s okay in the other two.

What can I say, not one but two Black Widows. This is an all out battle royal. In this take you will get new insights into the original widow. And also the new spider. She young , brash and hungry for the title. This is not a tale for the faint of heart. It's graphic, dirty and beautiful.

An action filled adventure showing that females don’t need men to get things done. Fun reading with a bit of heart thrown in.

This story was amazing. I loved being introduced to Yelena and learning more about Black Widow's past. This is a must have for any collection. And nice artwork too
