This product is meant to be used in small doses to heighten the Umami flavor of foods. If used properly it has amazing taste and is one of the best I've found. If you don't know what you're doing using mushroom seasoning, then use far less than you think. If it has a weird aftertaste to you, then you are the problem and litterally need to take cooking classes from an Asian chef before continuing at life.

This product is severely overpriced. Thanks to trade war and gouging.

I purchase this to use a s a soup base in lieu of stocks. It gives a dish a nice umami flavor.

This product has a really gross aftertaste.

Love this seasoning. I have been using this for years to season everything from eggs to soup. It gives food another layer of flavor and rounds out the taste of all my cooking without the need to use table salt.
