First fill your tank to 200bar(3000psi) then place the screw driver between the face of the valve and the bottom of the tophat and lever the stem tophat upwards in a circular motion around the tophat. It does not need any muscle or force. The stem it is sitting in the valve head(that is the plastic part of your valve that seals the air). There is nothing to worry about and no air can escape.Then to install the one piece stem tophat, all you do is push it in with your hand fire 2-3 times and it will sit in the valve plastic head all the way in.
