Actually pretty good
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some keto bread but every recipe I find requires too many eggs or to whip up egg whites which I’m too lazy to do. This exceeded my expectations. After mixing the dough it still felt super wet and sticky but I put it into a loaf pan anyways, I left it over night covered with a moist towel as instructed. It filled up about a little less than a quarter of my pan initially and it in the morning it had reached the top of the pan. It didn’t rise very much in the oven but I was still able to get decent sized slices. Glad to finally have a quick breakfast of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches again. I’m not sure if I’d repurchase this though which is why I’m giving 4 stars. For the price I’m not sure if it’s worth it compared to putting in a little more effort to making cloud bread

Good bread option for low carbers
I've made something like this in the past using flaxmeal which was basic and ready in minutes but it came with an unfortunate aftertaste that I can still recall. This however is much, much better. Making this loaf is somewhat of a process though, easy but not quick - you must rise the dough for 6 hrs. Also you must knead it for 15 mins which is basically like folding and scraping rather than traditional kneading. The dough is a wet spongy paste and the act of kneading activates the yeast and gluten. It is pleasant tasting result however, and it gives you back some normality if you're missing a sandwhich or piece of toast on your keto diet. HOWEVER, the company photos with the product are misleading. It purports to represent a loaf of bread that simply looks like a standard wholewheat flour loaf. It doesn't - in reality it looks and feels a little strange and is always tinged with a sulphur yellow colour - that would be the flaxmeal. But a pretty decent product overall.

Question the negative reviews
This is the first review I have ever written for an Amazon product. I have been taking part in a hospital clinical trial of the effects of an ultra low carb diet on various chronic diseases for the past 4 months. One of the food items I have missed most is a piece of toast for breakfast or an occasional sandwich. In my search for a good low carb bread, I came across this product, Keto- Low Carb Bread Mix.I originally read all of the reviews posted and came to the conclusion that the results people were getting, and the taste of the baked loaf, and the failed attempts at baking did not warrant the high price paid for the product. After a few more days of deprivation of my bread cravings I came back to the Amazon procuct and determined the price was worth the "risk/reward" for trying the product, so I ricked the $12 for the possibility of some baked bread that resembled the taste and texture of regular fresh-baked bread.I opened the package and began the baking process within an hour of when my package arrived. My intention was to use a bread machine (20 years old, not used for at least 10), and to closely follow the recipe. I began by mixing the ingredients in a large bowl, turning the dough out on a board, and finishing the mixing by hand. My first finding was that my dough was a bit wet, so next time I will add less water than what is called for. Since my water was already in, I dusted my mixing surface with 2-3 T. of flower, added in increments, until the dough looked and felt like it was ready for kneading. I then put the dough into the bread machine and set it for the 3-hour cycle. My first surprise was that within 2 hours, my dough had risen to where it was pressing against the lid of the bread maker. Next, the entire process was completed within the 3 hours. (I did place the baked loaf, in the pan, into a 350 degree oven so that the top portion that was pressing against the lid would bake, thoroughly. This took about another 10 minutes. After as short a time as I deemed possible, I cut a slice, loaded it up with butter, and dug in. The bread was great. My wife has been sampling several gluten-free breads due to stomach problems she is having. For the most part, they taste and have the texture of styrofoam. NOT GOOD! This fresh-baked Keto bread was so close to the home-baked bread I used to make years ago that I am totally sold on the product. Follow the instructions! Don't forget the honey! If in doubt about what the dough should look like when you are kneading, get someone to help you out. HAVE LOTS OF BUTTER ON HAND FOR WHEN YOUR FIRST LOAF COMES OUT OF THE OVEN!!

Tast and texture very good but mine over rose and collapsed.
I read all the reviews. I kept thinking, how can so many people mess this up but many complete it just fine? I put mine in the bread machine, but it doesn’t allow modification of the 1 hour rising cycle. So I used the kneading function which worked perfectly.I placed in a loaf pan and within an hour, I had a perfectly risen loaf. The only thing I can think of is that the bread machine slightly warmes the dough as it was kneads it and that caused it to rise quicker. So I put my perfect loaf in the oven and it just kept rising......and rising....and finally touched the top of my oven. I put it on a lower rack and I thought I had it all figured out. Alas, my loaf collapsed after baking and formed a mushroom top shaped loaf. Maybe I should’ve just left it in the bread maker. The flavor and texture is very good, and the bread is usable, but I’ll look for other alternatives.
