I ordered these to be used specifically as prop shoes for a music video based on an old spaghetti western. I realized that "you get what you pay for" so I didn't expect a high quality boot. Admittedly, they look pretty good, certainly as good as the photo. The chains seemed very cheap and looked like they'd cause problems very quickly but looks aside, I could not get them on. Every shoe or boot I own is a size 12 so I ordered these in size 12. I absolutely couldn't get either foot in the shoe. They were too small. WAY too small. Disappointed I returned them and went to a brick and mortar store to try on and purchase real leather boots at a much higher price. If you take the leap, I'd suggest ordering a size larger. This is a very cool boot. The material is very thin. The black surface chips off easily.If you are looking for a boot to wear everyday this is not your boot.If you are looking for a boot to wear for a night out once or twice a month this is a great bargain purchase. They have a unique style and will add an edge to your overall look. This is a great way to add some flair to your wardrobe without breaking the budget. I have used a black sharpie to repair a few chips at the toe and you can't tell. I gave 4 stars because I would have liked a touch more in the quality but still highly recommend them to anyone who understands this is not for daily use.

I ordered these boots for my son to wear for western day at school. They were the cheapest pair of boots I could get delivered in 2 days! My son is 13 and most of his jeans are skinnier in nature so the short boot worked great. He is a size 8.5 in Nike tennis shoes so I ordered a 9 in these boots. They were big but worked nicely with thick socks. The chain did break within hours of wearing them (like I had read in other reviews). But in a nut shell, he loved wearing them to school and loved the look. Unfortunately, he will probably outgrow them before he has a chance to ever wear them again. Teenagers!!

They looked smaller than they actually were & I correct. The only reason I kept them is because I have small feet. These don't give you much wiggle room. I normally like to have some extra width for some comfortable toe space but what can you expect with Cowboy boots! They look awesome, I mean the construction & design is outrageously appealing. The only draw back is if you like to play it safe & buy your foot wear with some extra space these are risky. I think they do make them in half sizes, so if you wear size10 maybe a size10.5 is more suitable.

I'm a sucker for pointy-toed boots. These looke great,especially the buckle/harness. The only really unfortunate thing about these boots is that they're not real leather,and whatever the material is, it smells horrendous. Really toxic. Burned my throat and nasal passages. Six times doused inside with Febreeze and twice polished uppers,still the odor is there albeit lessened. Otherwise, they're comfortable and look great. If your nose can take it.

Chain broke on boot after wearing them for 2 hours. They don't stink like people say, only if you're like sticking your nose in it. You have to be a dog to smell it. Seriously stop sniffing shoes. Also I normally wear a 10, they run a tiny bit big. I fixed the chain back, but I'm sure it going to break again. I know 40 isn't a lot for a boot, but come on. Why bother putting chains that last two hours on them? I'm not even doing anything but standing around in them so far. Not climbing ladders or doing Riverdance.

These boots are fantastic!I was under the assumption that these boots were going to be a one time fashion situation but what I found is that these boots are made very well. The color is something that will definitely catch the eye of people as you walk by but it fits in.The boot seems to fit a little larger than what I normally wear but overall its not overwhelming and still do what I need.Now these boots may not be able to take a daily beating of labor but seem to hold up well for the night out.

most uncomfortable boots I've ever had on my feet. and so cheaply made. the buckle was not even on the boot I had to press it on and it wasn't even real there was no stitching for the shaft of the boot decorative stitching area was simply printed on. it's smells like a tire it must be made out of rubber the whole boot. very disappointing they even hurt very much as I try to walk

These boots are amazing, my husband put them in the wish list with a few other pairs of boots. I chose these and they look awesome on him we were a little disappointed in the color though, they came in Black and this brown. This shade of brown is lighter than what the picture shows and for that we are disappointed because we was hoping for the shade they were in the picture. we honestly almost thought about sending them back because of that but they fit so well and they look so good with his jeans and after his double hip replacement and having to wear inch and a half lift for more than half of his life, it means so much after his double hip surgery he's able to wear actual boots now without lifts and this was his first pair so for that I'm thankful that he likes them other than the coloring is off from what we wanted. We were really hoping for the shade of brown that was pictured in the photo.

I love these boots. They look great and I really like the design but the 3rd day I wore them one of the chains broke. I was at a restaurant sitting on a stool so it's not like I was doing anything that would've broke the chain but when I went to walk out I could hear it jingling and I looked down and it was broke in half. I was able to repair it when I got home but I am a little concerned that after only 3 wears things are breaking already. I really do like the look of the boots and I hope they last but I'm a little apprehensive now.

I bought a size 12 boot. That's my size. Unfortunately , my size 12 foot would not fit through the opening at the top. I finally fought hard to get it on. Could have ripped it doing so. Probably would rip after putting them on over time. Way too small. Then when I got them on, the tip of the boot was 2 inches at least longer than my size 12 foot. Looked like clown shoes when I walked. Stuck out way too far past my toes. So bottom line, too small in the opening too long in the boot. The design looks cool though. With the alligator pattern an d color. The design looks good. But just not practical or wearable in any serious way.

Hysterical-perfect for s Halloween costume but I’m not sure if the boot itself should every translate to real life wearing. Nicely poor together and decent to look at, just not my style but my husband was Dog the Bounty Hunter for Halloween so they were perfect

I like the boots for what they are (cheep for a costume) they look good and will hold up well enough for my 70’s disco party costume. The bad part is the metal in the boot chain is soft as butter so it brakes easy but can be bent by hand to fix.

I can't tell if the boot is made out of plastic or cardboard or what, but it feels like the cheapest thing I've ever put on my feet. Surprisingly the first thing to break was the chain as soon as I tightened the belt around the ankle, and I wasn't even pulling that hard. Thankfully, this was bought just for a costume so I won't have to wear them too often.
