HOMZ 2-Pack Snaplock, Large Clear Plastic Storage Bins with Lids, 56 Quart, Gray

These are lightweight plastic. I received these in their original box, not repacked. That's good. The box was undamaged but inside the bins were cracked on the same corner of the rims. The lids were on top of them in the box, so I don't know how the rims got cracked!? Nothing was shifting around in the box. Not worth it to me to return as I looked all over for bins just this size. I had to just tape the cracks. They are a great size for under my work table, I stacked them 2 high full of stuff. The lids do snap on the rims in 2 places, although the lids are not tight. I put my heaviest items in the bottom one, I think if it was not filled all the way up, the lid might cave some when they are stacked. All in all, I'm using them and I didn't think the price was too bad although a lot higher than if I had been able to go store to store in person to shop for them.

My first purchase of this product a year ago was fine, no problems. Repeat purchases have prove the quality has gone down. Return and replace the product over and over again only results in which corner or section of the container where the lid connects is busted for one or both containers.These ship in a sealed box "sold as set", no way to tell when the item is shipped out that its already damaged. Not all of the container is brittle, just the rim where the lid connects. If it arrives seemingly visibly unbroken, just try opening and closing the container a few times and it will start to crack and break. I had one container so bad, a 3"x4" section crumbled into small very sharp plastic blades that spilled out of the box upon opening.Not worth the cost and the price keeps going up. (What happens when customers return this product over and over as damaged and just lose money on defective product.)However, if you are in a situation such as mine own and have little options or availability for a deep storage container for under a platform bed frame, buy a roll of duct tape to go with this. Granted, some of them arrive in an irreparable state and have to play replacement roulette. Tape and reinforce the brittle., cracked and damaged sections. Not worth what is paid and better off heading off to a large chain store to get a cheaper price on a product that you can examine for damage BEFORE purchase.

I needed a few clear tote bins for storage, and these were a good price, so I purchased them. They are absolutely fine, EXCEPT that I had a lot of trouble getting the lids to snap on. One actually broke off a piece. Now, I have used tote bins for too many years to count and I am not a dummy, but . . . . My husband was able to snap it on after looking at it closely, but I could not do so, and I am the one using it. They were shipped quickly, packaged well, and arrived safely. Since I was the one who broke it, I did not bother with a return.

Box is a great size. I like that you can see the contents. Unfortunately one broke in shipment making it unusable.

The lids are do not have a very good hooking system or it was slightly too big. It’s pretty challenging to get it closed and stay closed

Could be better Quality 77.00 Dollars, or should be priced lower by 30.00 dollars

They were the perfect size for what i needed them for. Great price too and fast shipping. Would recommend!

UPDATE: The lids attract perfectly. I had someone snap them on today. So the problem is in the strength of my fingers, not the product. IGNORE MY EARLIER COMMENTS. The lids did not ‘snap’ on, they basically sit on the top of the box. Maybe a side will snap, but you can still knock the lid off just lifting the box. Terrible quality for the price. Will be returning! Box + Lid should = secure storage. I

Purchased for camping and the first time I snapped it closed the handle and corner from box broke off in my hand. All I had in it was clothing and it was not stuffed. Would not recommend.

The lids can not be secured on the bins. If I am missing something, then it is much to fiddly. It's a bin all anyone wants is to fill and put the lid on and hear it click shut.These fins are just on good on any level.

This item was terrible,the lids do not snap on correctly, which makes them unshakable.
