I should have ordered this holster first!!
Awesome holster!! Seriously, this holster is awesome! It's so comfortable and fits my Sig P365 like a glove. No issues with the manual safety on mine either!Pay attention to the instructions regarding making your firearm fit like a glove, I did use the wrapper as suggested by the Winthrop and it was amazing how well that worked! I probably only slid it in and out of the holster with the wrapper on it about 10-15 times and it was amazing how the holster conformed to it. So happy!!!Just for the record, my Father in law told me about this holster. He's just retired 30 years county sheriff. He used Winthrop genuine leather holsters for several of his guns all IWB conceal and carry and highly recommended. I'm now a believer and highly recommend as well! I prefer this Winthrop leather holster to the several other "plastic" holsters I have. This is really nice, you can't go wrong!

Nice leather molded iwb holster for the walther ccp
Personally I like the holster, it's fits the weapon snugly and keeps the slide from pressing against bare skin. Like all molded leather it's does take quite a while to break it in. The instructions it come with are very clear on that and it even says/comes with/makes use of the packaging bag to help wear in the gun to the holster before use. I'm only giving it 4 stars for 3 reasons. 1, yes it comes with nice sturdy well molded leather and i know it takes awhile to break in but sheesh, it took more than a bit of effort to seat it in properly even without the bag which I understand and so didn't Mark off on its own but be forewarned it's very tight and you may have to shape the trigger guard front area to seat the gun all the way with liberal force/pressure for awhile. 2, the interior leather of the holster is also very stiff (good) but abrasive or rough on mine(not so good, at least for the slide finish) this is something I can live with as well and I plan on smoothing with some fine sandpaper and leather conditioner that's gun safe to help keep it from overly wearing down the protective finish on the slide. 3, for me at least with this gun and holster I would prefer to wear it in the middle of my back, however I'm generally right hand dominant, though amidexterous, and wish this was offered as a left hand option for my right hand in that position with this holster. The steel clip seems to have good spring retention but I need a dedicated edc gun belt to see if it's truly ok. Hope this helps someone who has a CCP

One Star for Customer Service :(
I purchased this in late September for use as a Christmas gift. It sat unused since then, until being given and subsequently opened at the end of December. After being opened and tested, it was found to be unsatisfactory for use; the leather at the mouth opening for the holster collapses after the pistol is drawn, making it necessary to use two hands or even remove the holster in order to replace the pistol. Additionally and also unsatisfactory, the metal of the belt clip contacts the muzzle of the gun as you attempt to reinsert the pistol. I contacted Winthrop for a Return, which was initially given but then retracted when they saw that it had been over 30 days since purchase. I was not aware of this policy at the time, but upon being informed of it, asked if I could return the holster for an exchange credit, figuring that way they did not lose a sale. The item is exactly as it was when I bought it, unused except for testing with an unfired weapon. I do not understand why I cannot get at least an exchange credit, if the product itself is the issue, and is still new. So - Buyer beware. This is my first ever 1 Star review, and a shame for that.

holster is Ok for the Ruger LCP2
The holster is Ok for the Ruger LCP2 but being a compact gun and already being down to a two-finger grip on the gun. The way holster was cut prevented me from getting my middle finger on the grip till it was pulled almost halfway out of the holster. Now pulling a gun with only my ring finger on the gun is not my idea of control of the gun so I trimmed it to work now I can have both fingers on the gun before its pulled from the holster

Bought this as my conceal and carry for my .45 XDS 3.3. Quality is excellent, very stiff stout leather and solid stitching with nice metal belt clip, hence two stars. But therein lies the problem. Leather is so stiff and course inside with very rough suede exposed,I can't holster it without cocking the slide? I followed the instructions and went through the break in recommended by placing pistol in the plastic bag and working it. It actually made it worse and at one point I couldn't get the pistol out of the holster at all? Even tried leather oil to soften it on friends suggestion...no go. Nice idea, bad application. I believe the inside needs to be smooth polished leather like the outside and the leather needs to be applied over some type of thermoform plastic frame or something to hold it's shape better. Have to keep looking. Sorry Winthrop...

Very good holster.
Holster is of very good quality and construction. On par with $60+ holsters. Good retention and design, sweat shield is effective but not too obtrusive. Mouth of holster does partially collapse when pistol is removed, making re-holstering difficult. With the P365 and 12-round magazine, drawing the gun from concealment is a bit tricky, but it hides the pistol well, is comfortable, and does the job at a very good price-point.

Winthrop Holsters IWB S&W .380
Very, very deep concealment, need to pull pistol with thumb. Not a big deal but different. Gun goes in too far in holster, can't get a good purchase on firearm with fingers, so I removed about 5mm of leather in front of grip and refinished. works great now. Still a deep concealment holster. With all that said, it is a good holster for the price of good leather. I didn't not want plastic/kydex, plastic guys are way over priced. I would rather buy custom leather holsters (RGrizzle, Adams, or WLW). I bought this so I didn't have to use my pocket holster for the summer and could use pockets for other stuff. I am oaky with the holster for this price.
