ASG Laser VESA Mount Case for Raspberry Pi 2 or Raspberry Pi B+

First case I received was improperly molded, resulting in the top not fitting over the Pi's connectors. (it was 1mm too thick, I measured)The seller was very helpful and sent out a free replacement.This case was extremely useful in the proof-of-concept for the Raspberry Pi ThinClient project I'm trying to push at my work.

Parts don't stay together, can be easily tamper.

Sure, the Raspberry Pi is only a $35 computer. But when you add the monitor, a USB hard drive, the USB power supply for the RPi, the keyboard and mouse, and any other peripherals .. Well, you suddenly have a snake pit beside the monitor. So, imagine my delight when I found this case that allows the Raspberry Pi to hang behind the monitor.One word of a warning. It does not include the screws. However, they can be easily purchased at your local hardware store. The VESA 100x100 standard notes the screws should be M4 screws. You need them to be long enough to hold the case tightly to the monitor, but not too long (since that would mean the case hangs out a bit).Some tips on how to make it work even better:1) If you need to use a USB hub and USB hard drive, then use an adhesive velcro (hook and latch) pads (see http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IC2T) to hold them monitor.2) Use 4 x Saddle Mount for Cable Tie for #8 (M4) screws (for example: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0023TVD4S) .. And wrap the excess cable length around the case on the back of the monitor.3) Use a power strip to plug in the monitor, USB charger for the Raspberry Pi and any power supply for the USB drive and/or the USB hub. That way, one switch turns the entire setup on and/or off.

This thing looks nice but it broke my pi. It doesn't sit flat and when affixing the pi it snapped the PCB. Caused hours of troubleshooting and damage. disappointed.

This case works well. Turns your Raspi 2 into an all in one. I have it on a 22" Acer monitor.

Best of its kind. The case is very attractive and looks really nice on the back of the monitor. It's compatible with the VESA standard, so installing it is a breeze. Only downside is that once mounted, reaching for the SD card is a bit difficult, but not an issue in my opinion. ASG Laser's customer service though is very responsive. Highly recommended.

This case is Awesome. I got another case too that I thought would work well except that it came as pieces of plastic and lots of screws. This one is so much easier and does the same thing. I give this one 2 Thumbs up. Highly Recommended.

Perfect for adding a retropie box to a small TV for a self contained arcade box.
