Excellent, detailed, high-yield
This book is a MUST for radiologic physics and the CORE exam. His method of teaching and writing is phenomenal. He breaks down the most difficult concepts in an easy to understand way. I often have difficult with physics and abstract concepts; however, this author does a fantastic job in explaining the physic. He predicts questions which could arise as one reads the text and then provides explanations to those questions in eloquent prose. I highly recommend this text.

Must read.
I think at this point it is well known.. Crack the core is a must read, and it is similar in utility to the USMLE 1 First Aid book.Granted, there are scattered typos and misspelling throughout, but still the best source out at the current time.

Great
Disagree with the above review. I used war machine as my sole physics resource and passed the most recent core physics section by a very safe margin. YMMV, but I found it very useful.

Awesome.
I am an R3 resident studying for boards. The upper class-men at my program swear by this book. I have read through most of the physics section and overall the book is very helpful. This is 10x less painful than going through the RSNA modules.

I would highly recommend it.
When it comes to studying for the core exam, Prometheus Lionheart's books are essential, and War Machine was vital in helping me to learn physics for this exam. I would highly recommend it.
