I've been taking a strenuous (for me) 3-mile daily hike in the foothills/mountains around my home and carrying a Camelbak bottle in my hand was really bothering me. I didn't want to take a backpack and I didn't want to wear a sling style bottle holder or waist pack. The palm holders which runners use seemed like a possible option but would still mean I wouldn't have both hands free should I need them. This little plastic clip is exactly what I needed. I can use the clip as a handle to comfortably hold the bottle in my hand while I walk or I can slip it into a pocket and have both hands available to take photos, wrestle mountain lions and scale sheer cliffs -- heh... okay, maybe just take photos. I don't really like the feel of the plastic when I slip it into my waistband, but that's because I wear my shirt outside of my pants, not tucked in, so I'm feeling it against bare skin. When I layer up in winter, I might like the waistband method better. For now, I prefer slipping it into my front pants pocket and wearing the bottle on the front of my body... that allows my arms to swing freely at my sides without slapping at the bottle. Each of these clips is about $4.50 and that's a lot for such a simple item -- but I will rebuy this should I lose or break one since it's the perfect solution for me.

I like to carry a small messenger bag with me wherever I go, one that contains the items I'd need should, say, my car breakdown and I find myself having to walk home. (Survivalists call this a "Get Home" bag.) This clever device is a perfect alternative to having a water bottle lay flat in the bottom of the bag, which I find cumbersome and annoying as it gives the bag a low center of gravity and causes it to bounce off my thigh as I walk. Clipping the bottle to the top opening of the bag not only distributes the weight better, completely eliminating all the bouncing, but also opens up extra room for more of the items I'd like to have with me should I someday need them. I can also hang a water bottle off my belt when I am mowing the lawn. Removing the bottle, taking a sip, and re-clipping the bottle can now be easily done with one hand, allowing me to keep the other on the mower (taking both hands off would shut the mower down). Construction is very sturdy, so I know this will last (bottle holders with rubber collars tend to break on me rather quickly). And the bottle is held securely, which in my experience no other product does. Was so impressed with this item that, upon delivery, I immediately ordered another pair.

I purchased this item based on the stellar reviews so I know it's going to be difficult for anyone to take my review seriously. However, this just does not work and I do not know how it got so many good reviews. It falls out of the plastic loop after just seconds of light, easy walking. I'm glad it was inexpensive, because I'm not going to bother to return it, but I won't be able to use it at all. I was hoping I would not have to go to the belt kind, but it looks like I have to start my search again for a comfortable, reliable way to attach my water bottles to myself while I am out on the long dog walks that I take every day.

I just about only drink water, at get togethers I always seen walking around with a water bottle in my hands, well, NO MORE! this inginious little gadget will have freed my hand! I love it, it hold the bottle snugly and it come out easily for a sip! I am getting a few more (one or two in car glove compartment and others at home). The only negative is "Why didn't I think of IT?" LOL.

I was looking for something that could carry my water bottle when I went for long walks or hikes. I did not want something that would swing and hit against my leg or hip. This cool little tool is just the ticket. I used it for a long walk to look at Christmas decorations in my neighborhood and I barely felt the aquaclip at all. Worked perfectly. Had my water when I needed it! Easy to slip right on the waistband of my pants. Several people asked where I got it - this is a winner!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I had one of these (was given as a gift) but it got confiscated by my skateboarding nephew! It makes such a big difference to carry my water bottle on my hip. It sounds ridiculous but it's just really nice to be hands-free, especially if your hobby is photography! I absolutely love this little water bottle holder! Nice to see it in the amazon market...Update:I found multi-pack listings. This water bottle holder is da bomb! I have never used anything easier. I just clip it on the water bottle and then hang it off my waistband. This will be perfect for my short and long hikes. I will even use it when I mow the lawn and go bike riding. Got dehydrated once and got the worst headache ever. With this product, I will always have my water with me! Yea! Great invention!!

This is the perfect equipment to have when just doing a short hike instead of taking my Camelback backpack. It easily clips on to my belt clip or front pocket. I prefer putting it on the pocket so that I can swing my arms when I walk or hike. It is also made out of a good durable plastic too. Oh I even tried a light jogging with it and it didn't fall off my shorts.
