EATON BUSSMANN SERIES - BK/GMQ-3-2/10 - Cartridge Fuse, TIME DELAY, 3.2A, 300VAC

The fan stopped working on my electric Trane furnace so I called the local HVAC repair company and they said my motor was shot and my 10 year old furnace needed to be replaced. They replaced the motor and in less than a week it stopped working again. I bought and replaced a few components as seen on the internet. Still not working. After some trouble shooting I decided to replace the fuse and it is 3 months later and still working. Try this cheap option first before spending 3 grand on a new motor and components.

I have no complaints with the product itself or the vendor. The item was shipped very quickly and works fine. My house is cool again.My complaint is that this is a simple sand filled glass fuse, that you can get for less than 50¢. They just add a plastic cap and flare the metal to make sure you can't use the cheaper ones. It's literally designed to be expensive to replace.If you have a little bit of time, and are handy with a soldering iron or crimping tool, you can replace the entire fuse holder with one that takes regular fuses from a hardware store that only cost a few cents each.
