This shower mat was the size and slip resistant product I was looking for. But after the first use I smelled an unctuous, petroleum like odor in the bathroom that persisted in the following days. Finally I realized the smell was coming from the mat. This has persisted for three weeks with only slight abatement. All the other aspects of the mat are as advertised and I am otherwise satisfied with the product, but if the odor doesn't go away in the next week I may have to return the mat.Well the odor did finally go away. I am now satisfied with the mat and increased the rating to 4 stars. It is slip resistant and does not slide around in the shower, which is important to me as I am an amputee.

This mat was a perfect size for my apartment tub. Suction worked, stayed in place. I am 77 and no longer feel like I might sleep. Price is great. Can’t imagine a better mat for any dollar amount. So pleased.

So happy with this good bathmat. The clear color is very cute. So soft with strong suction power. I can step on it without worrying about slipping. You do need to press on each suction cup for the best results. Pressing on a few of them with my hands to anchor the mat and then walking on the rest is an efficient way to set the mat in place. Large drainage holes allow water to drain out very easily. The size is a bit long for me, so I cut it along the lines, no cut mark, Perfect design!

I'm going to assume that we all know that one of the primary purposes of the shower/bath mat is to help lesson the chance of slipping and falling in the shower, and if I'm wrong I'm sorry, but I'm leaving this review because I have to think there is at least 1 other person who thinks that same thing and is shopping for a mat for the sole purpose of hoping to be a little safer in our slippery shower. If you are and have a chance to read this, this could possibly be your lucky day, even possibly your luckiest. This is a broken neck waiting to happen. You would be safer showering with a bar of soap under each foot. My wife was in the shower and within the first 30 seconds, she was asking me to come take it out. I didn't know if it was something that was on the shower floor first, although she had just cleaned it, it possibly needed to be washed off good prior to first use, but I think it is a lot of crap to think someone is thinking they're making a safe product and with good conscience willing to sell this to people and take their money knowing you didn't use the right material you didn't use anything approved for such a product in fact it's downright dangerous and should be pulled from the market this is the slipperiest thing I've ever stepped on in my life it feels like stepping on axles barefooted please if anybody reads this do not buy this product and if you're the seller and you read this you need to remove this product and test it yourself. And last but not least, be thankful I'm not one of those people that pretended to get hurt and sued you for selling such a product you and the manufacturer whoever I'm giving you a chance to pull it if you read this because there are too many people that could get hurt or too many people that will take advantage of the law. We cut it down to fit into a shower a square shower or I would have sent it back but I'm asking if there's someone take note of this is very dangerous if you get it wet you can't even hold it between your fingers

I have a stoop at the rear of my tiled stall shower. It's just right for sitting, but the tiles are cold and a bit slippery when wet. I've been looking for a shower mat that would fit, and this one fits the depth of the stoop perfectly! The first photo shows the mat on the stoop and the second photo shows it hanging up on the wall of the shower to dry. It provides a comfortable sitting surface. It is an almost perfect color match as well.Note that these photos were taken less than 24 hours after receipt of the mat, and it has not flattened out completely yet. I'm sure that it will do so in time.

This mat is very uncomfortable to stand on. It will slip around on you and I did not feel safe using it. It is pretty to look at but that is about all it offers to buyers. I would never order another mat like this. I am 73 and have a lot of health problems but I need one that makes me feel safe and this definitely is not the one that will do it.

I am using this mat in my shower. The only reason I gave this a 3 star is that when I rinse the shampoo and conditioner off my hair the suds and bubbles remain because the may stops the excess suds from flowing through the mat. Only the suds that fall directly through the holes go down the drain. The suds that land outside the holes remain so I have to lift up the mat so they get washed down the drain. It is however very soft to stand on and I feel more secure so I don't feel like I am going to slip and fall. That makes the extra lifting and draining the suds workth it. After all I purchased it so I wouldn't fall while showering.

I can't understand why anyone could regard this product as having a "super comfortable touch" (Amazon product description). Nor is the material "soft." To me, it feels more like standing on marbles or ball-bearings. And the vinyl is rather stiff and unyielding.

Pure junk! I've had this mat for 2 weeks and have done literally everything to get it to lay flat. It continues to roll under on one end which is a TOTAL inconvenience. It's now exactly where it belongs and that's in the plastics recycle bin!

They want me to tell you what I used this product for????? Couldn't think of anything else but the bathtub....I guessI'm a challenged individual....

This bath mat is Great ,just what I needed soft and squishy to sit on ,very secure stays in place when stepping into the tub,don't know what else to say .Buy this one if needed,Awesome!!

I don't recommend this product. The suction cups weren't strong and it was hard on the feet to stand on.

The size just fits within the shower stall and with the multiple holes - drainage is not hindered.Comfortable to stand on and doesn't get slippery even when using different soaps/body wash
