Staniel FOREVER
Goodness this shorter read packs a punch. Right from the start it has you on edge. This is Daniel and Stavros years later. This book is all about revenge. You don't mess with these two. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time with this one. I will say this one is mainly revenge plot. More gore. Less spicey times. But seriously so good. I could read about Staniel forever! Also I gotta just say these books have some of the absolute best nicknames to date, just sayin. So hot.Excellent addition to the Staniel series. Absolutely smitten with these two insanely dark murderous men!

Brutal and fantasitc
If you like dark, violent and twisted with your romance then this duet is for you. Stavros and Daniel are very bad men. They do bad thing. Bad things are done to them.... But you find yourself rooting for their ove.

loved as usual!
I story of forgiveness but wrapped in love and violence is the only way I can describe this book. These men are true blue psychos but in each others arms they melt. And god forbid anyone who stands in their way!

But the violence outweighed the relationship
I still loved this sequel, but the violence definitely held more weight than the relationship this book. Everything felt more like an advancement of the violence than the characters. It’s great that I love violence and smut. 😂

Enjoyable but violent
And I don't mean a little violence this story is even more violent than the previous book in this series and very graphic. This is the second book in the story of Daniel and Stavros, two very violent scary men, who met because Stavros was hired to kill Daniel's wife and Daniel's revenge was to kidnap Stavros and torture him, this all happened in "Call The Coroner" but I still dont understand how these two men fell in love with each other but their love revolves around violence for both of them, a Crime boss and the head of a group of assassin. Even these men sex borders on violences. It's a struggle to like either character and this book might be a little to much for some readers but it is interesting and if you believe you can stomache all the killing in it, this book is worth reading. It's a different kind of love story from what I usually read but for some reason I like it and willing to continue reading this series if this author decides to continue it. I gave it four stars because of the editing issues I encountered within this book; the last thing you want is to loose your focus on the story to try and figure out what's wrong with what you're reading.

Unlike any M/M romance I’ve read before
I Read Call the Corner first, then this. I’m going to go back and read the others she wrote too, because some of the characters are mentioned in this one. These are dark violent men loving each other. Yet there is emotion there too. Very different from what I’ve read before. Loved it.

Bloody Sexy
How can two twisted characters be so damn hot n sexy. Stavros and Daniel are a match made in HELL and it works so well for them. In the first book even though Daniel was against Stavros we saw how well they worked then. Now seeing them work together under different circumstances was even more hotter than before. An unfortunate incident almost caused Daniel the love of his life. But honey when they say revenge is best served cold they never had it served from Stavros and Daniel because they liked to serve theirs scorching hot with extra "sauce" of you get my drift. Such amazing, twisted characters but I loved them dearly.

Hell & Heaven Merge
Avril's books make you believe that even the most depraved and evil of beings can love and what's more these books make you want to cheer and root for their love even at the cost of doubting what you believe to be right and wrong . Can love ever be wrong? Can evil ever be right? Read these books if you've ever been curious about those questions. If you've never questioned these things... these books will make you!!

I liked the prequel better
This was a good read but like the title says, I like the prequel better. There was just so much sexual tension between Daniel and Stavros that u could cut it with a knife. I loved reading the chase and the denial and and angst. This sequel was more of the sweeter version and kinda cute.... like Beauty and the Beast. But Beauty is actually another Beast. I love it anyway.

Always a pleasure
I have read all Ashtons works and I have yet to be disappointed. But to get the full beauty of each character, I recommend you read from the beginning, since characters are always revisited in other books.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Awesome
This author never disappoints. She always keeps me on the verge of loving and hating her characters equally. They are raw and honest and would do anything at all for their loved ones. Awesome yet again.

Those that slay together......
A heads-up, f with Daniel Neito’s Diablo, and you won’t live long enough to regret it. ‘Cause when the latter’s betrayed, kidnapped, tortured and left for dead as part of a vendetta-fuelled chain of events that, rather surprisingly, Stavros himself had no hand in orchestrating, things get real ugly, real quick. So expect bullets, blood and bodies by the bucketload - plus an inordinate amount of macho posturing - as the guys wreak revenge on those responsible for Stav’s broken body and his man’s almost-broken heart.Well I did say in a recent review that I wouldn’t mind a little more Stav - my second fave AA character after Syren Rua - and tada! my wish came true in this sexy, high-octane sequel to Call the Coroner, which as the synopsis indicates, really is a must read if you’re to understand the goings-on of this book.Adored the aforementioned title, and I throughly enjoyed catching up with these blood-thirsty alphas again. Stav’s just as barking (if not more so) as I remember and I love how he brings the usually cool and in control Daniel to his knees. Theirs is an animalistic love that almost borders on violent at times, and I think freaky best sums up their lust-murder leanings in a nutshell. As getting aroused by murder and then getting it on amid the dismembered bodies of your victims is all kinds of messed up, but also kinda hot ..and fitting, if you consider how these former enemies got together in the first place. However, the brief moments of tenderness and sweet words shared in private, helps counteract the brutality of their everyday lives.I must confess that I find myself chuckling a bit and playing the six degrees of separation when reading an AA book, as rather amusingly ALL of her book characters are in some way related, be it by blood or marriage etc, and inevitably pop up here, there and everywhere …so expect a few cameos here, too. This can get a tad frustrating, if like me, you only read her m/m tales and don’t instantly get some of the character refs, but for the most part it’s easy to work out who’s who, and besides, I like that all of her books/series are so intrinsically interwoven and the characters have so much history, camaraderie, or bad blood …and quite often, a tsunami of sexual tension zipping between them too – which inevitably leads to more spin-off tales with hot guys. No spoilers, but that twist at the end was genius, and also paved the way for some potential romantic pairings that I’d love to read. So, if you enjoyed CtC ..this dark and grisly sequel’s kind of a no-brainer. Although you might wanna avoid if you’re on the squeamish side ..cos chainsaws ..just sayin’.
